Trump to Blame for Left Wing Violence, Right Wing Violence... Possibly Terrorism Too

More TDR?? don't any of you people have a job?

The guy who shot up the congressional baseball team was a Latino???

Look who first made a fuss over 'fake news'- it was Democrats in November, 2016. Their own rhetoric has come back to haunt them.

Obama referred to Republicans as an enemy that should be punished.

Punished in the voting booth.

If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us' -- if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election -- then I think it's going to be harder. And that's why I think it's so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd."

Manipulating context is a pretty cheap-shot way of debating.

Trump represented the proletariat?
What a bizarre concept.

Most of his support came from the working class. He was absolutely embraced by the proletariat, while the executive class endorsed Hillary Clinton. It sounds like a reversal of the norm, doesn't it?

Post #11 Mally.

Why...you're wrong once again Manc!

Mr. Obama's "enemies" quote from the Univision interview:

"If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us' -- if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election -- then I think it's going to be harder. Obama was referring to 50% of Americans as 'enemies'.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-explains-his-remark-about-punishing-enemies/

What? Are you saying that 50% of Americans would vote against Latino interests?
Ya know, the way you word things, "50% of Americans are enemies...", it's pretty cheap. 100% of Americans are enemies, if you don't provide the context. Enemies of something or other. Obama was talking about Latinos getting out and voting for their political friends and against their political enemies. You know that. You know the context, but you weasel-word the quote and claim Obama considered 50% of Americans enemies.

He may have been elected by the proletariat but he sure as hell doesn't represent them. He has contempt for the White House, calledit a dump, you think he represents working types?

Politicians are different people when on the campaign trail. While on the campaign trail, Obama never told anyone that he planned on golfing away 1/7 of his time in office. He never told his large crowds that he was in the back pocket of Big Banking, and would not bail out common people, but would rather bail out greedy bankers in case of a crisis.

Obama implied to Latinos that they needed to punish their enemies, and vote for their friends. In this context;

Enemies= Republicans
Friends= Democrats

This isn't complicated Mal.

No, I don't think we can blame Trump for this since has nothing to do with this. A separate incident.

"With an upsurge in voting" is your addition. Obama never said it.

No, he never said it :roll:

So we already know the media is going to blame Trump for this, even though nobody was injured, and no attack actually occurred. But what about the shooting at last year's Congressional Baseball Game, when a self-described leftist shot 6 people, all Republicans, or police officers?

About a year ago, many Democrats on this very site were saying that Donald Trump would be to blame for future terrorist attacks, because of his opinions on immigration from Muslim countries.

So let's clarify for future reference; the left believes Donald Trump is to blame for left wing violence, right wing violence, & terrorism.

Somebody has to believe Trump is to blame for something. The right won't even blame him for his own actions.

Sure, blame him for this;

"After the release of the November jobs report, the U.S. has added 1.7 million total jobs since Donald J. Trump took the oath of office. The median jobs growth of 208,000 per month is the strongest for a president since Trump’s wedding guest Bill Clinton was in office."

:lol:
