Trump attacks WSJ

Actually, he didn't. They misquoted him. He disputes their quote.

Listen to the audio...he's right.

You are obviously hearing what you want to hear. The WSJ used a trained professional to determine that he said I.

Here's the audio of that remark Trump made. Listen for yourself.

I heard him say, "I'd".
This one is clearer AND provides context before and after.

Sorry Mycroft, context and clearer recording, as well as everyone not affiliated with the White House, says you're going to have an uphill climb on this argument.

As far as the importance? Meh, I couldn't care less if Trump says he does have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un. As far as "I" or "I'd", it doesn't really matter, Trump is likely not telling the truth either way.

Than what? The stock market is a poor indicator. It merely shows the wealthiest getting wealthier or not.

It shows that anyone with a 401k is getting wealthier, as well.

I listened to the audio myself. He didn't say what they said he did.

Have you looked at the Stock Market recently? Have you looked at GDP?

You don't think we are in a better place?

What do you think DJT’s position will be when there is that inevitable ‘market correction?’

Even in that audio recording he said "I'd".

But hey...WSJ makes **** up. Your anti-Trump bias induces you to believe it.

Don't know. Do you think I'm a mind reader?

Please don't ask me stupid questions.

Even in that audio recording he said "I'd".
Not from what I heard, nor was it heard by many different independent listeners. And, again, context suggests he was speaking of his current relationships, not prospective relationships.

Again, it's not something I care much about, I'm just saying you should probably save your strength for another day.

But hey...WSJ makes **** up.
Yes, why couldn't it come from a more trustworthy source such as Conservative Treehouse, a source you like to use? Then we'd know it was honest and objective, right?

Your anti-Trump bias induces you to believe it.
No, just my ears. In the audio in the link you presented, I might have heard "I'd", but in the clearer audio, the audio with context, I didn't hear it. And, again, context matters.

But your argument of "anti-Trump" bias is pretty stupid, given I've already said I don't really care and that it doesn't matter if he said "I" or "I'd" as he was likely lying either way. So, take my advice if you wish, but I suggest you save your efforts for something better.

Sure sounds like he said "I" and not "I'd".

Doesn't make sense in the context of the entire statement but that is what it sounds like.

Speaking of context...

This makes sense.

"...and I'd probably have a very good relationship... ~ ...I would...I have relationships..."

This doesn't.

"...and I probably have a very good relationship... ~ ...I would...I have relationships..."

In any case, I definitely hear "I'd". Not " I ".

No...they are not.

Heck, even this " I " " I'd" thing shows they are not objective and they've been doing this crap for 2 1/2 years now.

All due respect Mycroft, but you're the LAST person here that should be lecturing ANYONE about objectivity.

Just sayin'.

I’d have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un,” requires an if...

If he weren't a bloodthirsty madman with a nuclear weapon and I weren't such a narcisistic ass would be my if. What would yours be?

Bloodthirsty? So far he's gotten us into less killing than the previous two Presidents.

Just sayin'.

I have more objectivity than the WSJ.

I listened to Mycroft's link. Trump said "I".

Really? Like what?

Buddhist style.

Dalai lama has a quote. Goes something like, "Its easy to get overwhelmed. The world needs so much. What can one person do? The answer is anything. Anything you do to make the world a better place, makes the world a better place."

So I do what I see needs doing. Like when the old lady is weeping in the grocery store lot because her car won't start. Stopped what I was doing. Gave her a jump, followed her home. Put a new battery in for her. Didn't accept any money.

That's one. But every time I see a chance I take it.

Trump has spent his career screwing people over. Brags about it.

Did he donate money? Probably. Did he need a deduction? Probably.

So if there's a reckoning at the end of it all, ima bet I come out on top of trump.

Drug kingpins make a lot of money. Having a lot of money doesn't make you a good person. Doesn't make you a bad one either. Depends on acts.
