Trump attacks WSJ

What a thread!

A single Republican, Mycroft whipping up on a herd of leftist who have ganged up on him!!

You go dude!! Your making them look like little fools! :lamo

:fueltofir :respekt:

Thank you. However, to be precise, I'm not a Republican. I don't like to be part of a herd (Party).

Go on, elaborate on your thoughts. How exactly is he doing so?

My contention that Trump said "I'd" has nothing to do with what Trump says. I go by what I heard in the audio.

As Ive said repeatedly...I go by facts and my own perceptions to form my opinions and positions. Not Trump's...not some news network...not some talking potato head. Trump is just as reliable...and unreliable...as any other source with a bias.

If not for Trump there wouldn't even be this debate. So Trump is the only place where you could have possibly heard about I'd. He is the only one who brought it up.

So. You would prefer that Trump just lets the WSJ put something out that he disagrees with? It's his fault there is a debate because he disagrees with that they said?

Sounds like you would rather anyone who dislikes the BS from the Mainstream Media would just shut up and not make waves. I guess that would make life easier for the lot of you. You wouldn't have to go to the trouble of actually thinking about what the media is doing.

So it goes...

I've been called petty for posting the stuff that Trump does because I disagree with them, yet he's called a hero by his supporters for lying about what the WSJ says. And people wonder why journalists are concerned. One can argue the only reason why this story is as big as it got is because Trump made it that big, not because the WSJ reported on another stupid thing Trump did or said

That is an argument you would lose...as I've already shown you.

I believe my original argument was: Trump attacks the WSJ and is being petty.

You have shown no evidence to the contrary.

Not a contradiction at all.

I get information from all media sources...but I don't trust any of them.

One does not depend upon the other.

Well that makes sense. :doh

When it comes to claims of "independent", I question that nowadays. Hell, the WSJ is supposed to be "independent"...but they are just as anti-Trump biased and all the rest.

Simply because Trump is a childish moron with a very low IQ and devoid of common Sense.
The WSJ is correct.

I've already disposed of that argument.

Wow you really are delusion. Mycroft is telling circular lies and you're say this?

sigh...

Put that transcript in front of you and listen to this audio from WSJ...follow closely with both...if you cannot detect the differences, then I'm sorry...there is no hope for you.

Sorry, my man, but the 28 second audio clip at that link maps exactly to ...

"With that being said, President Xi has been extremely generous with what he’s said, I like him a lot. I have a great relationship with him, as you know I have a great relationship with Prime Minister Abe of Japan and I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

I have relationships with people, I think you people are surprised."

Which is in the WSJ transcript. Nothing missing in either nothing added to either. Again, what have you found edited out?

I think you'd be better off arguing why he'd say "probably" if he hadn't said "I'd".

Do you see what is missing now?

Do you see what is missing now?

You're absolutely correct!!!!
He does start a sentence that begins with "I would".
It's like he thought better of it and decided not to complete the thought.
I totally missed it ... every time.
I'd say the words "probably" and "I would" would be a more rewarding way to determine the intent of his original statement than arguing about what someone hears or doesn't.
Regardless ... the WSJ did drop "I would" in the transcript.

this is just humorous
