Well they'll feel better soon as Twitter is enacting German-style censorship policies. I was banned for saying that Islam is violent. Apparently pointing out the demonstrably obvious is "hate speech."

Soon, Twitter will be a place where frightened people can hide from reality and cozy up together with warm mugs of hot chocolate and their favorite liberal myths, without some ruffian coming in like a bull in a china shop and disabusing them of it with a dose of facts.

You know what Bucky? Only a moron thinks it's cute for the President of the United States to threaten the leader of a nuclear power with his bigger nuclear button. Unlike some people. I care about my children and the future of this planet. And unlike others, I don't think this is entertaining. He wasn't given access to the nuclear button to Tweet threats about it or make jokes about it.

This is hopeless. Trump has his core base who are itching for him to goad North Korea into launching a nuke that wipes out half this country. When that happens, you can celebrate your little brains cheering on your reality TV game show host crush out while the smart people put the country back together. A lot of people understand now because of Trump how much power Tweets can have in politics, but they either dont like Trump, his politics, or they dont trust him.

Tweets are one of many ways Trump has shown the so-called pro's how they can do their jobs better.

The press is actually there in part to be OUR check/balance on politicians/government. "going around" that is actually a problem. Who is going to ask him the tough questions when he bypasses our voice to government? He has to be questioned by the press and interviewed, etc., his facts need to be checked and he needs to face his lies head-on. He needs to be on a variety of news outlets, not just the 100% friendly and in the swamp with him "Fox news". That you don't understand this is sad.

A mature, professional, diplomatic, honest leader, can certainly go around the media and be applauded in casual cases (not on national security please!), but not all the time, and not if they don't routinely do rounds in the press to get grilled.

Trump is immature, unprofessional, antagonistic, and a compulsive liar, he will be criticized *more* if he does not allow any of his staff to help filter him. He chooses to ignore all filters, and we happily oblige with harsh criticism for his endless mistakes and buffoonery.

President's should hate the press, and grudgingly accommodate them since they serve a vital function in a working (democracy-like government).
Trump openly wages war on them and bypasses them. Clear sign of a terrible president doing terrible things. One step away from authoritarian.

Trump will start a nuclear war and his loyal fan base will be sitting outside growing 2 more eyes while the reality TV game show host is safe from harm. And you know what? They will still adore him.

It's goddamn sick. Nobody with half a working brain thinks acting like a fat moronic high school boy playing Battleship with his nuclear button is a good idea. And now we have two fat moronic high school boys doing it. The difference is one of them was swept into this game by pathetic people. Ugh. This country has gone to waste already.
