Fox News Host Suggests “We Have a Coup on Our Hands in America”

Is that a real question?

Since J. Edgar's days the Bureau has been notorious for its deceptions and political machinations. Alfred McCoy has been writing about the Cocaine Importing Agency's drug business since the 60's.

Do you live on an island?

I say again, I know Putin is a Russian nationalist. That said, his honorable behavior at the UN and subsequently in Syria have made him FAR more credible than any US politician or spook.

A credible guy.

For a murderer.

So Putin says that Russia didn't interfere in our election, so there's no need for the FBI or the CIA to investigate. Like Trump, you really believe Putin when he says he didn't meddle.

Not exactly. My position is that nobody has made the case that Russia actually did interfere. Your heroes Clapper and Brennan have not made their case. Mueller's many months of investigation have not made the case, and the plea Flynn entered into with Mueller, and the recorded conversations of Flynn and the Russians show that actually the Russians rejected Flynn's request regarding the UN vote.

So it's not so much believing Putin (though I do in this case), it is that damn near a year of investigation has turned up nothing to support the case. Indeed, bits and pieces show the Russians rejected Trump's overtures.

Murderers in high office are a dime-a-dozen. Bush has been convicted of war crimes already, and Obama might be right behind him. Gunslinger Barack killed more innocents with drones than Putin has.

Keep things in perspective sir, lest you appear as a hypocrite.

Of course, a lot of the evidence that has been uncovered is classified, but here is what has been made available to the public.

If you can’t see the difference between drone strikes and murder of specific political enemies to retain power....it explains a lot.

That you can rationalize the murder of innocents explains even more. My bet is you rationalize torture using the same sort of thinking.

I’m not the one championing the credibility of a murderer and, no doubt, torturer.

It's ironic, isn't it? "We'll take the word of the FSB in an investigation into Russian influence in our elections." :doh

I'll take the word of the CIA, which intercepted communications between Russia and the Trump team.

I'll need to see some evidence. As it is, the only thing we know is that Carter Page went to Russia. That's the total of all the evidence presented to date. Last time I checked, we don't charge or convict anybody based on here-say. It's time to put up, or shut up for these people who make such claims.

Damn, who is that sitting next to Putin in Moscow? That's Flynn.

That's a good boy!

Shall we talk about the conversations recorded by whichever federal agency between Flynn and the Russian Ambassador, that led to Flynn's plea? Probably you would rather not discuss them. They showed the Russians turned down the US request to vote against the UN censure of Israel. The Russians in whose pocket Trump supposedly is, turned down his request. Trump is in Israel's pocket, not Russia's.

There are hundreds of photos of virtually everybody who's anybody in US government dining with Russians. They all must've been colluding and demonstrating flexibility.

But only a couple that have plead guilty to a felony lying about Russian contacts.

Maybe if they lied about it to anyone that mattered maybe (and I do mean maybe) they'd be in just as much trouble as Flynn.
Lucky for them it never got to that point.
Case in point, Senator Claire McCaskill (referred to as Comrade Claire) said she never had a call or meeting with Ambassador Kislyak when she actually did both as well as went to a reception at his house and donated to group he's connected to. That's a lot to have forgotten.

Did she claim that under oath?

Seems like kind of an important distinction.

We're not supposed to mention the gross hypocrisy of the political left. If we Don't talk about it, it didn't happen.

No, but usually you can tell by their reaction that they're aware of it.

Sure.

It also doesn’t prove the people you support are child rapists and serial killers and cannibals either.

The point, which you either ignored or missed, is that you're being completely hypocritical. You likely cling to the notion that all the money sent to the Clintons by the Russians was because the Clintons are just, just absolutely wonderful people.

No, but usually you can tell by their reaction that they're aware of it.

Oh, they absolutely are aware. I think it's that By Any Means Necessary dispensation they imagine they have that they continue. With that, they're allowed to throw any moral or ethical concerns to the wind. Why, that reminds me...has Franken packed his bandana on a stick and headed home yet, or is he still clinging to his seat?

You always conveniently omit facts that fail to suit your Trump/GOP agenda. Franken's D.C. office will be vacated shortly after Jan 1.
