Trump Ignores Terror Attack; Doesn't Dispute Time Spent Watching TV

On Twitter this morning Trump tried to debunk the NYT story, which I posted here: https://www.debatepolitics.com/bias-in-the-media/303714-trump-watches-8-hours-tv-day.html at around the same time his home city of NY was attacked by a would-be terrorist.

Yet he goes off on the NYT without even saying how much time he DOES watch TV. We all know he at least watches the Foxandfriends block on Fox News which is three hours long.

Here is the tweet. No media stories about it yet:

He has called into various MSNBC and CNN shows during the 2016 primaries.

There was a thread on here earlier about why is there so much division in America.

This thread should be a good example of pig piling.

Nice work.

You're right. And those are people who aren't hyper-obsessed with everything Trump and hyperventilate over every movement he makes.

I know you don't think his twitter account is news

If one's going to be so obsessed by how much TV a President watches rather than doing his job, there were the frequent incidences (at least 8) of the previous President saying he found out about embarrassing and scandalous things going on in his administration by watching the news -- including the NSA spying on European officials, the conditions at the VA, Fast & Furious, the IRS targeting conservative groups, that Hillary was using an e-mail server in her home . . . and more.

7 Other Times President Obama Said He Found Out About World Events By Watching the News

This is extremely small potatoes to be worried about when there are much bigger fish to fry.

Tell me if you cared about Obama finding out about stuff from watching the news, why shouldn't we care that Trump spends a lot of time watching the news?

Who said I did? Re-read my bottom line, and see if you can ever stop making things up.

I did by saying he should be focusing on the terrorist attack.

How long do you think it takes to compose a tweet? Maybe you are just butthurt because he said something, anything.

Here is one about your favorite news outlet:
https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/n...c-terror-attack-cnn-obsesses-over-trumps-diet
40 Minutes After NYC Terror Attack, CNN Obsesses Over Trump’s Diet Coke Habits
At 7:58 a.m. ET, the journalist broke in with this developing story: “We do have some breaking news we are following right now because there are emergency crews in New York City. They are responding to some type of possible explosion. We understand it’s near the Port Authority bus terminal.” By 8:38am, she was moving on: “We do have more information for you about President Trump's habits inside the White House.”

I am not going to tard up the forum with a thread about it because I don't want to tard up the forum. This is just another example of idiots that are just as obsessed with the minutia of Trump's life as you are. I don't care about how many cokes he drinks or how much TV he watches. This is a good example of why most people view the media as bias and don't listen to much, even if true, from the media. Then the left and the press whines because nobody listens to the media/

You didn't provide a link to the tweet. Kinda figures. Well, here it is:

Notice the tweet is tagged as 6:17 AM, today.
Here is a link that addresses specific times when the report broke to the media:
CNN mocked for airing segment on Trump's soda consumption while NYC faced terror attack | Fox News

The article states:

The suspected bomber was identified as 27-year-old Akayed Ullah and police have called the incident an "attempted terrorist attack." An "effectively low tech device" was detonated in a subway passageway just before 7:30 a.m., New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a news conference.

Trump posted that tweet an hour before the attempted bombing. I guess both of the grievances that you have are both addressed. Trump DID dispute how much he watches TV (which nobody really cares about anyway) and he tweeted before the bomb went off.

So what has Trump said about the attack today? Has he added Bangladesh to his travel ban?
