No, ABC suspension was not about integrity.

It's funny to see the spin w/regard to ABC's suspension of Brian Ross as some kind of example of integrity in the MSMs. This is simply not the case. The reason why he was suspended is because his false report upset the money cart, which is the surest way to get yourself in trouble in any institution, especially the news, who depends on advertisers (i.e. business who lost money due to the false report).

At one point the Dow plunged 350 points after ABC News reported that Flynn is prepared to testify that President Trump "as a candidate" directed him to make contact with Russians. ABC later clarified the report, saying that Trump did not tell Flynn to reach out to Russia during the campaign.

...

The sharp slide in the stock market came within minutes of the ABC News report on Flynn, who pleaded guilty on Friday to charges he lied to the FBI about conversations with Russia's ambassador, according to court documents.

...

Peter Boockvar, chief market analyst at The Lindsey Group, said it's "obvious" that the ABC News report was the catalyst for the tumble.
"It's potentially the biggest political headache he has to deal with," Boockvar said.

Your source is? Did he have actual knowledge of the decision making process?

Yes, it's called reason and logic. If they cared about integrity in reporting they would be suspending people often as, in the era of Trump, false reporting has been a relative constant. Why was this instance and retraction taken to a new level? Because it actually cost the money makers money. You know...the real bosses of the networks?

So no source, no knowledge, just a random quote from some nobody who is giving his random opinion about something he has zero knowledge of. Thank you for confirming that.

You've just demonstrated that you don't even understand the point that's being made, or what you've read. That is the sole thing that has been confirmed here. The quote wasn't just some rando and the source was CNN money.

To be fair, you should have included a link.

Even when they do the right thing, you mad bro

Complain when they don't, complain when they do.

I'm stating a fact. They didn't "do the right thing" because they wanted to. They did it because their uberlords (advertisers) were mad. Do you you get angry about facts?

It was the right thing to do no matter what you think the reason is. He pointed that out. Now why on Earth would your response be to rhetorically imply that that means he is "angry"?

Because he thought I was angry for stating facts so I can only assume that he gets angry at facts so that was the perspective he was coming from.

He wasn't being serious, and if he was, he could easily base it on your response's to redress.

Anyway, the thread is ridiculous, so.... meh

What is funny is that we are supposed to believe that Trump had no idea what Jared and his "transition team" was doing in corresponding with Flynn about the call the Russian ambassador. Trump is not known for being out of the loop in anything that effects him but this time he was? How can he prove that? We certainly can't take his word for it.

Not commenting on anything except the hyperbole. “The Dow plunged 350 points...” The Sky is falling. 350 points.

Over and out.

Yeah...there was nothing wrong with what Flynn was doing and talking about during the transition. In fact, it's what he should've been doing. I don't know why he lied about it.

The sky isn't falling from the drop but people definitely lost money and the media exists as a business through advertisements. The advertisers are the bosses of the media so irresponsible reporting that results in them losing money is going to have bad results for you.

I think facts make far-leftist go punch drunk for a few minutes, from the quality of responses you're getting. My summation is rather spot on.

Belief. The word you are looking for is belief.

That's how these industries work. That's why going after advertisers is so effective against them.
