Rick Wilson: Sanders knows she’s lying, but does it anyway

Close but no cigar. I did not exempt "lied for illegitimate purposes." Indeed, the examples I cited were instances where legitimate and illegitimate might be hard to define. To lie for personal advantage is not included.

OK, then answer this very simple question - a Yes or No is fine:

Have you ever lied "for personal advantage?"

The thread still isn't about Elizabeth Warren. It's about Sarah Sanders, and her lies. Here's a discussion of that, should anyone want to get the thread back on track after the "Oh, look, a Democrat did it too" diversion.

Example:

Sanders essentially told reporters Monday that Manafort was nothing more than a delegate counter on the campaign.
But that belies his actual role as chairman of Trump's operation for three months.
"The President hired Paul Manafort to handle the delegate process, which he did and he was dismissed not too long after that," Sanders said when pushed on the significance of his indictment.
Manafort, a longtime Republican operative, spent five months on Trump's 2016 campaign. While he was hired to deal with a bruising delegate process at the Republican National Convention, he also chaired the campaign for three months, regularly working with the Republican nominee and his family.

Example:

DJT is a serial liar so it's hard to imagine she doesn't lie too.

I don't think the claim is fantastic.

Well, sure, it's perfectly normal to go through a lifetime - 40-50-60 years as an adult - without ever having told a single lie 'to gain personal advantage'.....If one is a saint, or George Washington.

I don't think it's unusual.
