CNN ignores Democrat sex scandals?

Last edited:

Well.. It is another Daily Mail hit piece for its very ignorant audience.

Complaining about CNN not doing stories on Bill Clinton and his issues with women, is basically history denier. Only the absolute ignorant and moronic partisan fools believe such lies.

As for the rest.. come on. Most of them are unknowns even in the US. Betcha there are just as many GOPers being accused at local level across the country. The list even include staffers for **** sake..

Okay, I'll make that a point if I ever want to sexually assault, or abuse someone. Seeing as you are suggesting that it should just go unnoticed, so long as I don't have a position even close to the lime light.

'Fox & Friends' Spent Less Than 4 Minutes on Roy Moore? But Hours on Weinstein

'FOX & FRIENDS' SPENT LESS THAN 4 MINUTES ON ROY MOORE—BUT HOURS ON WEINSTEIN

The sexual assault allegations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore are the biggest news of the day—unless you're watching Fox & Friends. Friday morning, hosts of the Fox News talk show spent just four minutes discussing Moore, less than 24 hours after the Washington Post's bombshell report which included an account of Moore molesting a 14-year-old girl when he was 32.

Instead, the hosts devoted the majority of their air time to topics such as: A professor who said "whiteness" played a factor in the Texas church shooting; an NFL boycott; the first lady's trip to the zoo; and a different Washington Post story altogether—an opinion piece about what the world might look like had Hillary Clinton won.

For comparison's sake, from October 5 to October 24, Fox News spent a cumulative 12 hours, 32 minutes and 36 seconds discussing the allegations against movie mogul and Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein, according to Media Matters For America. Fox News anchors and hosts have also flitted over the sexual misconduct allegations impacting their own company. Between April 1 and October 24, they devoted just 20 minutes and 46 seconds to the allegations against conservative mouthpiece Bill O'Reilly.

Yay, you pointed out how media outlets can be biased in their journalistic reporting.

Now if only you could also point out how CNN will the exact reverse on topics when it comes to sticking crap to Trump and protecting their own people. Then you will see that you are actually pointing out nothing new.

Nobody knew who Roy Moore was either.

Of course it should not go unnoticed.. but come on. CNN is not a local news channel.. it is a US wide channel. If they were to report on every single local scandal and crime.. it is impossible. Why on earth should CNN or NBC or Fox News, cover that some local politician in some state is being accused of grabbing some woman's butt? There are far more interesting and important stories going on that people would be interested in.

Nope, but unlike some local politician running for local office.. Roy Moore is running for the US Senate, which is a big deal and impacts everyone in Alabama and even the US. His story is relevant to everyone, where as a staffer grabbing ass in a Utah town hall is.. frankly only really relevant for that town.

And a local politician affects the people in their immediate areas on a daily basis, and they seem to be spread out these days.

Better the devil 5 miles away or 1500?

Your partisanship is clearly showing. This has absolutely nothing to do with partisan issues. This has to do with relevance to the audience of the news channel.. non partisan relevance.

So let me ask this.. does Fox News report on every single GOP scandal in all local areas of the US? How relevant is it for you, that a GOPer in a local constituency of 2000 people in Montana has been busted for jaywalking or grabbing ass?

Lets move this over to crime. I come from a small country and our news does report a large portion of violent crime in Denmark. This is in large part due to the relative rarity that it happens. But lets be clear, I could care less about some dude robbing a shop by gunpoint in Northern Jutland, or a murder in Southern Jutland, when I live in Copenhagen. But it does get reported because it is rare and we are a small country and pretty everything is "local". But local political stories or other stories that are not rare, are not reported in the national media.. because they are LOCAL. What do I care that a county in Fyn is reducing the hours their home carers can give their customers?

Now lets transplant this to the US. You have 320 million people, covering vast areas and your violent crime rates are considerably higher. So should national news channels, which CNN, Fox, NBC nightly and so on are... cover a shooting in LA that is gang related, or a domestic violence murder in Montana or ass grabbing by a horny politician in Florida? The question comes into, what relevance does it have for you in Virginia, and the fact it happens all the time.. a common event. If Fox, CNN were to report on EVERY violent crime in the US every day.. they would do nothing but reporting on this.. because of the size of the country and how common it is. And in this case it is sexual assault... a woman is sexually assaulted ever 70 or seconds in the US.. should CNN, Fox cover every report of this? Come on... take of the partisan glasses and wake the **** up. Local news can cover these stories, which they certainly should and if they dont.. they should be hounded for not doing their jobs. But a national news channel.. come on.

That brings us back to Roy Moore.. he is running for national office. Some 2 bit senator running or in the Montana senate is only relevant for people in Montana. Roy Moore is relevant for the people in Alabama, and if the crime is harsh enough, which it is in this case... nationally. It would be the first time in US history that a known pedophile would get elected to high federal office. That is relevant news for everyone, where as the some local story in Montana is not.

So you are telling me that the ass grabbing of a local politician's staffer in some ****hole town in the US, effects the average American voter? How exactly does this ass grabbing in say Montana effect you in Northern Virginia?

And yes by pushing this articles talking points as you are doing, then you are partisan. What about all the GOPers that CNN are also not reporting about? How about Fox News, are they reporting about local GOPers busted for corruption and sexual assault?

If only they could follow that advice, when the person getting **** on is a right leaning denomination.

News makes mistakes..... I have seen on Fox, criminal GOPers being pushed as Dems.. Remember Foley in Florida? They put him as a DEM for a few hours before they corrected it.

Yes, they corrected it. At lest they don't keep on trucking with it like some of the phoned in articles people can find online.

It was never a mistake, it was very much deliberate. Not the first time or the last time Fox News makes this kind of so called mistake.

Politics is local Pete. I have already stated my case here on DP regarding these perv's.

He speaks for Denmark and the wider EU and is only looking for something to criticize about in the US. Mostly they do this with no real thought put into it.

No real thought put into it.. you don't say?

Ditto on that sentiment.
