Another example of an (intentionally?) misleading headline. He/they did not say, nor did they imply, what the headline says, but you have to read the article to get that and they know that most people will read only the headline and knee-jerk. This is outright dishonest reporting that is only fostering the hyper-partisanship, and is not serving us well.

If you get your news almost solely form sources like thinkprogress, DailyKOS, alternet, Occupy Democrats, then you are no better than those who get their news almost solely from sources like Breitbart and Fox News.

This is the bad smell of desperation. Wildly swinging at anything to try their best to damage the president.
This is exactly what president Trump would call fake new (well at least the headline is.)

eh, I think the headline is pretty accurate: Huckabee said this: "I think in one case specifically, Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing. The president hasn’t." The President wants you to believe that all the women that came out and accused him were liars, and that what Franken did was worse than what he did and what he's said for years/decades.

Sure there's a click-bait component to it as with all partisan sites, but it's not "Seth Rich was in cohoots with Wikileaks." Or James O'keefe Style of misleading videos.

The WH is clearly using that to excuse away what Trump did. Righties think the people who "stand-up," for themselves are principled heroes standing strong for what they believe in. When that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Well, except that is pretty much what she said. How exactly do you interpret what she meant?

Liberal journalists don't care what lies they tell.

It's not like she said that at least he saved his transgressions for adult women.

Nonsense. Huckabee was asked how the situations were different. She said Franken admitted it and Trump didn't.

That of course is also a lie. Trump did admit to sexual assault.

Apdst suggesting that someone else is dishonest?

Yeah didn't he come out with a canned apology? Man, people are really stupid/have short attention spans.

People do love their partisan journalism for some reason. I'd rather just completely overlook such a site that publishes such a one sided headline.

But knowing the enemy is one reason why we have to schlep through such drudges unfortunately.

apparently Ms. Sanders doesn't care about the lies she tells every time she holds a press briefing.

Thinkprogress though it may be, it's hard to imagine what the implication of Sanders' comment would be if not that Trump's lack of admission to wrongdoing constitutes innocence.

And people get upset when so called Trumpers beat the dead horse of crooked Hillary all the damn time.

I don't dispute that, but I don't see how that implies that only people who admit wrongdoing should be investigated... as a blanket statement.

The conclusion from the Thinkprogress article ("only men who admit to sexual assault should be investigated for it") is a logical extension of the idea that lack of admission to wrongdoing constitutes innocence. Look, thinkprogress is a crap site, but their interpretation of Sanders' statement isn't all that far off the reservation.

We'll just have to respectfully disagree, then. I see it as an illogical leap. An intentional smear to dishonestly influence. And I say that as someone who loathes Trump both as a person and as a politician.
