Ummmm sorry, but yes they did.
Even the Washington Post called out CNN for their dishonesty.

As for fake story #2, CNN manipulated a video to make it appear Trump did something he didn't and there are plenty of stories floating around about that. This is what
the Washington Post wrote about it:
Both the headline and the photo CNN used implied exactly what their EDITED video did, that Trump just got impatient feeding the fish one spoon full at a time and dumped the entire box in the pond. CNN took the video (which was shot by the Guardian) and zoomed it in on Trump, so people didn't see that the Japanese PM dumped his box of food in the pond first, and Trump was only following his lead.
CNN didn't mention that fact in their story until the 5th paragraph and even then said the Japanese PM "appeared" to dump out his box of food ahead of Trump... like they think he did, but weren't really sure if he had or not. Take a look at the unedited video and tell me how ANYONE could doubt that the PM dumped his box in the pond, and did so before Trump did?
CNN flat out mislead the public... How else do you explain the number of stories on the internet and tweets from journalist who bought into that false narrative?
You can pretend what you like, but anyone with their eyes open can plainly see what's been going on... and before you even think it, I did not support Trump, I didn't vote for Trump, and I still think he's an embarrassment to the office... but unlike those who revel in the embarrassment, I hope for the best and refuse to participate in the Trump bashing because it only fuels more negativity toward the US.
