The U of U police weren't very convinced by Crowder's video....
"...Crowder’s production team presented the video to police moments after it was recorded.
“Police looked at the video, evaluated other information available to them, and determined the individuals did not pose a credible threat that warranted action,” Nelson told Fox 13 News..."
University of Utah Police evaluated undercover video of protesters at Ben Shapiro speech; determined no credible threat | fox13now.com
The article did go on to say that one of the only two arrested at the protest was one of the females in Crowder's video. But other than that the protest was largely peaceful and Shapiro had his 40 minutes of free speech.
Shapiro even got air time on the local NPR station...
Seems about right, sensationalized but not staged.
EDIT: I do find it funny that they say the individuals weren't a credible threat but later on had to arrest one of them anyways. The video likely caused the police to keep a close eye on them in the event something did happen so it is entirely reasonable to say that the video ultimately lead to the arrest of that one person.
