that is one creepy mother ****er ...............

Was he ever good at anything because first he completely failed us in the WH and now he embarrasses himself even further.....

Is there such a thing as a Catholic with no sense of shame?

I have never seen such a beast.

Spicer should seriously consider the Japanese ritual Seppuku aka Harakiri ................

What a dope:

Despite a sense that Spicer might have been the butt of the joke last night, along with Trump — the latter th subject of a series of takedowns by presenters and winners alike — Spicer ultimately felt he was respected by Colbert and his staff throughout the process. “I think there might be a difference in our political leanings here and there, but I respect the job that they do, and I think that hopefully, they respected the job that I did, in terms of serving the country,” he said

He was a complete failure, but apparently is too dim to know....

Just when it seemed Spicer would stop being a tool and embarrassing himself...

Well then how the heck did he get hired in the first place? Is Trump that easily fooled? (that is a rhetorical question, since he obviously is)

Spicer "regrets" lying for Donald Trump so much that he continued to stay in his position until Trump fired him. Crocodile tears.

Now we have Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a reportedly religious lady, bearing false witness for Trump.

It's probably close to impossible to work for Trump and not lie. Seriously. Is that a surprise to anyone? Sadly there seems to be no shortage of people who are willing to sell themselves out to have a chance to work for the Trump Administration. Spicer, Conway, Scaramucci, Sanders - not a principled person in the group.

And before Trump apologists start, this post is not about Obama or Hillary Clinton.

I have no idea, I never cared enough about this guy to pay attention to him but he is starting to annoy me so maybe that changes.

I didn't ask your opinion of Sean Spicer, I asked you how it makes Trump look since he hired a failure. You called him a failure yet you know nothing about him? Just because you leave a job doesn't mean you fail...

How many months ago was it that we were supposed to believe every word out of his mouth according to some badmouthing him in this thread?

But now he's being less than worshipful toward the Dear Leader....

It is not apologist to state that the duties of a press secretary are to spin things to make the administration look competent. Granted that is made harder when you have the crew that Trump put together, with Trump himself spewing off topic and off message nonsense, but Spicer did what he could to perform that duty and Sarah Huckabee Sanders is surely trying.

So telling the truth makes him a beast? He lied about crowd size because he had to appease his boss.

Yeah, I think it's pretty clear why Trump hired him. The apple doesn't far fall from the tree.

No it does not. He was between a rock and a hard place (read an ahole). While I did not like his ways, he had a job to do, feel sorry for the fellow.
Hopefully he is not completely stained for working for trump

Or he was trying to impress Trump...but did not because at the end of the day what Trump always cares about is results, and this guy did not deliver.

I don't think any press secretary who works for Trump will be able to deliver.

i agree with you that she is very trying

opposite perspective

no matter how hard he keeps trying to remove that stain, i hope it never goes away in the public's view

This was nice of him:

"Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has warmed up to Melissa McCarthy's Emmy-winning portrayal of him on "Saturday Night Live." So much so that he thinks he deserves a piece of the gilded pie.

When asked earlier this week if McCarthy owes him part of her award, Spicer grinned and said, "I think we should share."

McCarthy took home the award for guest actress in a comedy at last week's Creative Arts Emmys for lampooning President Trump's former chief spokesman."
Sean Spicer thinks Melissa McCarthy should share her Emmy Award with him - LA Times

For some reason, I missed this one by McCarthy. Hot damn. That is some really funny **** there.
