Stalin was baptized in the Russian Orthodox religion and studied for the priesthood in a Russian Orthodox seminary.

In the early years, Stalin considered the Mensheviks as Jewish majority and Russian minority. He considered the Bolsheviks to be Russian majority and Jewish minority. Stalin joined the Bolsheviks.

I've visited Russia twice. I've never met any Russian that thinks Stalin was Jewish.

So, if I'm reading you right, you're saying that Stalin wasn't Jewish, and there's no credible evidence to support the contention that he was?

What is there to research? If he is a natural born U.S. citizen all he has to do is produce a valid birth certificate to that effect.

I guess the Orthodox community doesn't want to claim that killer either. He was an atheist at the very least (communism frowns on deities other than the state). Whether he born a Jew, I don't know.
