Or he's just an amoral, obsequious sycophant. Considering he also went to half mast over George Bush, too, I'm going to guess it's the latter.

Yeah, that's true, one can always appeal to alternative definitions of "left-wing", so now "bad right-wing ideologies" are "left-wing ideologies" and "a centrist" means "a left-winger." Unless you like that centrist, obviously then they're a fellow "right-winger."

Ugh, what has happened to this country's use of labels?

Labels can be helpful sometimes, but IMO more often than not labels are quite misleading, very inaccurate.

For me, all my conservative friends call me a damn liberal, even as my liberal friends call me a damn conservative. What's a boy to do? ;)
