Donald Trump Is Fed 'Propaganda' Every Morning to Keep Him Happy!!!

You're kidding, right? He knows both sides. He recognizes the media's vendetta. He hears it every.single.day. He isn't trying to please everybody. Not by alongsho

There are many things to criticize the POTUS for. This simply isn't one of them.

below 40 in the polls isn't all the media out to get him...

There is Maggie, there most definitely is and the fact that you cannot see that isn't terribly surprising.

Trump supporters don't really live in the same reality as the rest of us.

You're right, I don't. I don't live in a world that is doing everything possible to delegitimize his presidency. Has he made many mistakes? Well, then don't elect someone with zero political experience. Is he trainable? Time will tell. In the meantime, he is the leader of the free world. It is not our job to destroy him. It is our job to prop him up.

We elected him after all. We knew what we were getting. Someone very far outside the inner circle. If you don't think the media has been grossly unfair to him it makes little difference. Because tens of millions think they have.

Below 40 in the polls is proof he most certainly Is persecuted by the media.

Such a poor victim isn't he Maggie?

Just a poor, poor victim of everybody and everything.

Totally nothing to do with him.

Do you think Obama got information like this delivered to him daily? I do. I think it's likely every POTUS did something similar. It only makes sense. "Let's see what my supporters are saying." Imagine the nerve of the guy. What a ridiculous thing to do. Not.

No. I'd bet money most President's didn't get flattering news to him delivered twice a day. This is not about him "seeing what his supporters are saying" that notion is just ridiculous. This is bout him stroking his fragile ego.

This is the man we gave the nuclear codes to. We really ****ed up as a country.

Half of the country is not a bunch of brainwashed drones hooked up MSM. This is the sad thing. Even in countries where there is state run media and propaganda pushing out how awesome the leader is, the majority of the people, especially the educated people, know the leader isn't that great. They also know their lives are not that great. I have a lot of friends from countries just like that. Trump and his supporters talk like the media is blame, and if the media just talked great about him 24/7, he would be at 100% or something. It doesn't work like that anywhere in the world, in any society, or in any form of government.

There are always going to be people susceptible to propaganda, but not everybody. It's more than possible that Trump is polling less 40% because of Trump. That can't all be entirely the media's fault.

Most people get real satisfaction from the constant validation they receive on Facebook. Anyone honest will admit that. We love Likes and Loves and Smiles. It's human nature. Why do you think they're posting? To read about YOU???

Umm, no, I am not a FB addict. I don't base my self worth on likes and smiles. I also don't browse people's profiles and compare myself to them. I would hope most people don't do those things.

Well, his narcissistic personality disorder almost gauranteed this would occur. The low approval ratings are probably getting to his fragile ego. Folks strap in, you aint seen nothing yet, this clown show is only in its first act.

I agree with you that not everyone is susceptible to MSM baloney. But the media uses their laser focus on every word and action he takes to, I think, sell their wares and make their names. I'm a believer in follow the money. But the haters use it to spread their hate.

I also agree that his poll numbers are not the the majority of the reason for his poll numbers. But I also know that most people form their opinions on the POTUS, every POTUS, on sound bytes. I doubt anyone would dispute that the media is leftist. And the media is clearly the enemy of this president.

In my lifetime, I have never seen the media more divisive. Trump can do nothing right. They are quick to slant that HE is somehow responsible for NK. Never mind that every single POTUS in the last twenty or twenty-five years has kicked that can down the road, and HE has decided to draw that famous red line. If he hadn't reacted strongly enough to Korea's ridiculous threats he would have been dead wrong. That he HAS reacted strongly to those threats has, drawn criticism that he's a war monger. He condemned the violence over the weekend. He didn't do it right. His own Republican congress has let him down on his campaign promises, and instead of calling out the frauds for what they are, a bunch of sniveling cowards who voted time and again to repeal and replace when they knew it wouldn't go anywhere, they focus on the president's so-called failure... instead of focusing on the sniveling Republican congress. If Trump cured cancer tomorrow, the media would say he didn't do it for the right reasons.

I learned a long time ago that MY thoughts aren't much different than others in most instances. I didn't say everybody who uses Facebook loves the Likes, the Smilies, the validation that their kids are cute and their lives are good, because that certainly is not the truth, as you and your useage of it point out. But most do. That is EXACTLY why it is a social phenom.

Human beings are wired to appreciate and even crave validation. That's who we are. Those that don't give a **** what other people think, don't care who agrees with them and isolate themselves from the thoughts and feelings of others, in my opinion, are often sociopaths.

Great post. "Burning America down to burn Trump out" is how I put it, which means that America is even further into the rot than I had figured. We are about to crash onto some very hard realities, such total disregard for civility is always rewarded with large doses of pain.

Can you at least admit that Trump is responsible for a lot of what you call MSM bias? A while back he addresses Congress. He gave a nice speech, talking about working together, and uniting the country. The MSM rewarded him with kudos. Here is the 1st paragraph of the CNN review.

Gone from his speech to a joint session of Congress were the lengthy attacks on media and Democratic opponents. Missing was the gloom-and-doom warnings of "American carnage" from his inaugural address. And while he didn't deliver a ton of policy specifics, Trump smoothed his rough edges, soothed congressional Republicans and reached out to populations he'd previously alienated.

"The time for trivial fights is behind us," Trump said.

So when it looked like Trump might start down a new "presidential" trail, the very next day, he tweats that "Obama bugged the Trump Tower". How can you blame the MSM???

Actually, I think any honest person would blame them both equally. You can't chum the waters and then be mad you caught a fish. Thanks for the CNN quote. The POTUS himself is responsible for much of the negative press. He lays down the chum.
