. . . for Reuters to set up a live streaming webcam outside Sean Spicer's house?

He should sell ad space in his windows.

You do realize that the entirety of our "news" media is nothing more than News-Entertainment, yes? What purpose does it serve? Ratings. Nothing more. Drama, drama, drama; apparently it's all we'll watch anymore.

I know what gossipy, snotty purpose it serves. What I actually asked was what journalistic purpose it serves.

There's no journalistic integrity in any of our News-Entertainment. That died long ago. Now it's just ratings. There's no journalistic purpose intended, so it's pointless to ask how it serves that.

I feel bad for Spicer on some level. He had a neigh impossible job, one cannot keep up with all the excuses necessary for Trump. And now it's going to be a circus for a bit because...well that's what we do. All train wreck, all drama, all the time because that's all we as Americans consume.

No, that's pretty much the point of asking.

I barely even know who he is. Not sure why anyone would want or need to watch his every move after resigning.

He is a crack in what liberals hope will lead to a total collaspe of the trump adminstration

Its wishful thinking on their part but it shows how hysterical the anti trump reuters subscribers are these days

Good one, MAC77!

No, that's pretty much the point of asking.

It's like asking "why is there no chocolate in vanilla pudding". Because then it would be chocolate pudding, which isn't vanilla. News-Entertainment isn't news, it's news-entertainment. It's not about journalistic integrity, it's about selling ads. So it is pointless to ask why there is no journalistic integrity in our News-Entertainment. It's not meant to have it, that's not the point, it's not a focus, it's at best an afterthought.

If you want to attack the News-Entertainment industry as a whole, and say that it doesn't serve us, that the main purpose of a free press is to report the doings and actions of the government to the People such that the People can better control the government, then...well...duh. I've been saying this for years. But you can't just go after CNN, the lot of them do this. From CNN to FoxNews, the entity of our MSM, and even our Conspiracy Media (like Breitbart, InfoWars, and the like) is nothing more than News-Entertainment. Part of this really got kicked off under Clinton and his Telecommunications Act. But it's also fed by us, as a People, because we consume it. The cause of our own doom, in that regards.

I think it's good to go after our News-Entertainment because it is a complete disservice to the Republic. But a lot has to change to get rid of it, and it's not just on the government side of things.

Who said anything about CNN? I was wondering why you were mentioning "ratings" as concerns Reuters, but now it makes sense.

Reuters is supposedly a respectable news source.

Kinda like how the liberals on here were drooling over the latest Georgia election.

This is going to be a statement against TRUMP!

OOPS!..................we lost again.

Can't he kick them out again?

Yeah you have more than a viable point.
They are probably getting ready to set up a sink cam in his bathroom, but only after they have wind talkers go over all the conversations from the G-20 summit. Not to mention trying to decode the amount of winks Putin & Trump shared to see if morse code was used.

Though they may be trying to interview McCain's tumor to see if it has any insights to the elections....

Funny thought, and not to be caustic.

But I want them to name the tumor "feminism" as a nod to ol Milo. I think he'd get a good laugh out of that.

Or kinda like Scarlet O'Hara thinking the South will win the war because Lincoln keeps changing generals

He kept shuffling his team till he got what he wanted

Probably to keep track of secret meetings held there at some time in the future.

Yeah but did you see all of the liberal hate pouring out against a woman these days, just because they are republican. Not even if they don't transcribe to Trump outright, its like equal rights don't even exist for them at that point.

Ummm... really?...

Umm....yes. Most Americans wouldn't know the name either. I barely do because I semi-pay attention to politics.

Well, most Americans cannot identify South Korea on a map, so no surprise. But I would expect a DP poster to be pretty well aware of Spicey.

That's a **** move.
