Heading to Drudge report today I see the headline: Most unproductive Congress in 164 years! He links to this story: Why the GOP Congress will be the most unproductive in 164 years

A few days ago, Drudge put Russia and Don Jr story together, linking to the NY Times, which made some question if Drudge is done with this administration.

I noticed the same thing over the past couple days. If DRUDGE turns on Trump full bore - it could take some Trumpkins with him. Lets hope so.

You better worry your pretty little head about CNN, they're getting their comeuppance. I think the fact that Trump calls them fake news every chance he gets, is actually working. If they and the NYT don't dial it back a few notches, they'll become irrelevant soon.

That has nothing to do with my post. But its nice to know the little rubber hammer hitting your patella still works like a charm.:lamo

It was a story all right. The word "OPINION" in RED at the top was big clue.
Actually Drudge has always had positive and negative pieces about everyone.
I had just read the one you linked and it was a laugh riot.
I was going to post it myself as an example of opinion journalism run amok.
The flaming was unrelenting.
Here are some titles of the author's other objective columns.

How long will America believe Trump's lies about Russia?
The president of the Red States of America
Trump isn't preparing to fire Mueller. What he's doing is worse.
Republicans must impeach Trump — for their own good

Spoken as a true brownshirt.... you do realise that? Despots and their followers first turn on the media.... Look at every dictatorship out there, both present and past... the media is either shut down or hounded into complying. Is that really what you want?

I don't have any compassion for a biased leftwing news organization that's turned to phoney Russian stories. Three people resigned................that's three people including Pulitzer Prize winner!

And you continue to prove my point. Attacking the media because they happen to go after your dear leader.

How many "alt right" so called journalists have resigned over their false stories and lies btw?

It's called media, and Drudge ain't your friend and never will be, get used to it. CNN is your friend, and is heading down the drain.

You're just digging your own hole, more people have lost their careers and jobs trying to nail Trump than we even know.

and then the other knee.....

The WSJ editorial board is bashing the Trumps. I don't see the pigs flying yet, but it's gotta be coming.

You blame trump

But I blame the moderate GOP senators, aka RINO's who are more loyal to the corrupt washington establsihment than the base voters who elected trump

Anyone that is still supporting Donald Trump is going to go down with him. There is just too much to this Russian investigation to ignore. They're seeing the light at the end of the Tunnel now, and are adjusting too it.

But they were also the promoters of Trump, they were the ones that sold him. Here is a great article on this.
It is not entirely true that Trump engineered a “hostile takeover” of the GOP, provided that the party is defined more broadly than elected officials and party insiders. As Conor Friedersdorf wrote last year in the Atlantic: “the elements of the party that sent pro-Trump cues or 'Trump is at least acceptable’ signals to primary voters—Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Breitbart.com, The Drudge Report, The New York Post, Jeff Sessions, Rick Scott, Jan Brewer, Joe Arpaio—are simply more powerful, relative to National Review, Mitt Romney, John McCain, and other ‘Trump is unacceptable’ forces, than previously thought.”
The GOP That Failed - POLITICO Magazine

We can't leave FOX NEWS out of this disaster. Trump received 2 billion in free news coverage during the primaries, and FOX News turned into the Trump media Network during that time period, while they ignored all other GOP candidates.

Fox News, meanwhile, has given Donald Trump the level of positive coverage that money could never (legally) buy, and as a result, they’ve dropped in the ratings. It’s no coincidence that as Trump enablers and outright supporters have focused more and more on Trump, their level of appeal has dropped. They don’t have the diversity of panelists CNN has managed to grab, and they don’t have hosts who allow both sides to speak freely. What’s more, the rising star of Fox News, Megyn Kelly, was fast becoming the most popular personality, and then Donald Trump not only insulted her, but the network on multiple occasions met with Trump to try to work things out and get him to come back on the air. If Kelly decided not to remain with Fox News when her contract is up, Fox News would fall even further – and they would deserve it.
But WHY is CNN crushing Fox News in the ratings?

They're all in full panic spin mode right now.

Trump's RINO #1. Remember, he contributed to Hillary Clinton.

Did it hit your throat? Looks like your speechless.

I have no idea . Why don't you tell me about what it feels like when it hits the back of your throat. Does it leave you speechless?

Not during the last election

That's my point. A life-long Democrat sees an opportunity to be front-and-center and presto! a Republican is born.
He's the RINO in the livingroom, not his opponents in congress.

Trump doesn't know what he is. He contradicts himself and changes his stated position frequently. His supporters either don't notice or don't care.

Trump is a BS sales dweeb. That's a talent, but it's not helping him as POTUS.

The GOP needs to keep riding the Trump shark until his base gives up on him - and that isn't happening.

Are they planning to open a media free shelter for them?? Well, Trump could still tweet directly to them.

Not this time, IMHO when all the investigations are done, if charges are laid or not, their will be a wide swath which will lay a number of Trump supporters reputations bare and covered in slime.

Flopping in the muddy bottom of a drained swamp?

Pure nonsense!

'President Trump has succeeded in picking the most conservative Cabinet of the modern era, and possibly
ever, even besting the team put together by former President Reagan, according to a scorecard from the
American Conservative Union, host of the annual CPAC convention.

ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp told Secrets that Trump's team, made up in part with House and Senate
lawmakers graded by the group over the years, has a 91.52 percent conservative rating, significantly
surpassing Reagan's by 28 points.'

I don't think the progression of trump from a democrat to a republican was as sudden as that

If trump was not the animal we voted for he has had ample oppertunity to change his spots and he hasn't done so

I'll take a reformed democrat who keeps his promises over a RINO like Susan Collins that talks out of both sides of her mouth any day.
