Fox News Turns on Trump Jr

The republican leaders in congress are a mess and the healthcare fiasco is just one example of mcconnell and ryans incompetence

Yeah Trump wants to sign anything the Republicans come up with FTW. He DOESN'T CARE!

Shepard Smith is your hannity critic at Fox?

I posted a link where I said smith belolngs on cnn rather than Fox News

Smith is a journalist. Hannity is a partisan mouthpiece.

Piece by piece, little by little the crumbs are falling from the bread and Trump is said to be losing it as his presidency is deteriorating every hour now. He is living the lesson of Washington politics that hard way.

Yeah Trump wants to sign anything the Republicans come up with FTW. He DOESN'T CARE!

He cares and we care

But the republican leadership in congress is incredably incompetent

We may have to settle for anything we can get that is not perfect

I don't see any republicans but Trump supporters claiming that it's good.

Smith is a bad journalist who cannot keep his personal opinions out of his reports

No one knows what the final bill will look like but I doubt if trump supporters will be very happy with it.

We are talking about trump's need to go on to the next item on his agenda

Which is why trump is in no position to be a perfectionist

There is nothing wrong with a journalist with an opinion so long as that opinion does not attempt to obfuscate fact.

You are confusing establishment republican swamp creatures who never wanted trump in the first place with conservativefs and dedicated trump supporters

The republican base will turn on National Review before they turn on trump

Yeah the point is that an "establishment swamp creature" would have known better. The Trump campaign reveling in it's own amateurness is not an excuse.

Anti trumpsters in the democrat and republican parties are the swamp creatures slithering around washington

Why is he not allowed an opinion on Fox News? They used to be more balanced, I guess they don't want to seem like it anymore.

Actually news should not come with an opinion. That now is a thing of the past.

Thing like this drive me nuts.

Yes, Fox News has been critical of Don Jr's meeting as they have been critical of many things related to President Trump and/or his team. The only difference is that Fox News also gives the whole story, presents both sides, and credit where credit is due. Which of course most of the rest of the mainstream media characterizes as being 'fawning' or 'partisan'.

So of course the MSM, who hates the President with a passion and have spent many months trying to destroy him now, will criticize a Hannity interview that actually gave Don Jr. a forum to explain his side of the story, something no other media outlet has even attempted to do.

And the blatant hypocrisy in all this is that if it had been Hillary who met with a Russian lawyer to get some dirt on Trump, there would be a huge yawn from the same MSM who, if they carried it at all, would have shrugged it off as pretty much a non story.

And I would bet a good steak dinner that NO POLITICIAN of any party would not want to know what the dirt was on an opponent if it was offered to him/her whether or not he/she chose to use it.

Trump connects with the republican base voters while the rep leadership in washington does not

You are right. And the GOP won't turn on Trump for fear of losing the votes of those people. It's fascinating to watch the GOP reps 'refuse to comment', over and over and over.

I will have to disagree. Shep Smith is a newsman; in fact, he is the managing editor of Fox's Breaking News Division. The job of a reporter is to report the news--the five "W's"--not to shape the news or to editorialize. As the memo to NY Times reporters said, "...we should leave the opinions to our colleagues on the Opinion side.”NY Times Again Sends Memo Reminding Reporters Not to Editorialize on Social Media | Mediaite

They are spineless swamp creatures

When they weren't Trump apologists.

Well, I have never known FOXNews to be anything other than a Republican propaganda outlet but you do have a point.

Trump is making it hard for even FOXNews to stand by him. That's saying a lot.

Before Trump you had at least various factions of the GOP fighting for airtime on the network. Now it's just the party base.
