Its time for Smith to go

He has an obvious leftwing bias that drips from every news broadcast he makes.

If he were a political commentator that would be OK

But his job on Fox is to read the news of the day not spew his leftwing views

Smith needs to go

Yes, you are correct. His type don't belong on a credible news network.

Fox should just do all their hiring directly from the RNC.

Can't handle a differing opinion eh??

I kind of like the guy.

I kind of don't

Fox has plenty of political commentators already

Their job is to tell us what they think and what we should think

Smith is not supposed to be one of those but rather a simple news reporter who gives us the what, when, where and how of the days news events

He should be completely transparent in that process but he's not

My fav. fox reporter is Chris Wallace.

btw: you praising Shep, is a huge red flag to mac77 and bucky

I don't really watch much fox news, or really any cable news channel, but I don't see why they wouldn't want to watch with people that have different point of view than their own.

Sheppy is bae.

I've always liked him. But I will say that lately, he has been editorializing, and this crosses the "newsman" boundary for me.

You should watch Chris Wallace pushing back against Trump's lawyer about Trump being under investigation, but, he's not, but, you just said he was, but, he's not. Then why did you say he was. Trump is not under investigation. But, he is. No, he's not. You just said he was. No, I didn't. One sec, I'll find the video.

I liked Chris Wallace alright before that video but, after that video he rose a couple points with me.

Then don't watch him.

Is Fox news really supposed to deliver simple news the way you want it?

Nobody should tell you what to think.

A lot of people don't want to have believes and viewpoints questioned, left or right. It requires critical thinking about much in a person's life which for many might be more stressful than they would like.

So they intentionally seek out only things that reaffirm what they already believe and think

It is called Fox News not the Fox Opinion Network

News organizations dating back to newspapers separate the news section from the editorial page

Shepard is not practicing good journalism

So if he said what you wanted to hear, with a more conservative tone, would it be okay? I mean obviously he is not the only newscaster providing his opinion during his segments yet he is the only one you are calling out.

I don't think Chris Wallace is a good journalist either

He reminds me of a spear carrier for the corrupt washington establishment

If you want an example of a good journalilst watch Brian Lamb of CSPAN when he was the host of the Washington Journal

You literally could not tell what his personal opinion was on any subject

Go Shep, the only Fox Analysis with a shred of dignity. Shep is probably the only staff member Ailes did not make a pass at, you go boy!! If it makes a few Righties heads explode, all the better.

It would be ok with me but liberals would have a legitimate complaint

The news broadcast should be neutral ground that liberals and conservatives can share
