Greta DONE Already @ MSNBC

Greta may not be the hyper partisan either side would care to watch. But in her personal life she has done good things for those in need. She is a good person. I wish her well.

She's part of a cult that imprisons and tortures people, how good of a person can she be?

And looks still matter as they have always mattered, we are not in UTOPIA with a better breed of human yet.

In Gretas case I am not sure if it her looks that are the problem, or if it is maybe that she is not willing to take minimal effort to improve them.
It's not the looks, though good physical image never hurts.

But her voice grinds on me. I can't explain it. She just has a voice and demeanor that turns me off.

Agreed.

She makes a better analyst than anchor, I think.

That being said, she never worked for me. Personality, demeanor, delivery, voice. Nothing appealed to me, and I'm sure it's just the cliquing (or not!) of personalities.

I always saw her that way. I wish I was a TV exec :( If you couldn't tell...

Greta is well versed in the Law. She may show up at another network not with a show but as an analyst. She had a long sprint on CNN before FOX and another good sprint with them.

MSNBC, was a short time. With all the 24/7 cable news needs to fill their segments, I am sure she will be a regular guest somewhere. She and her husband are deeply involved in charity groups funding folks who need assistance all over this world. She has worked with other people like Franklin Graham who do the same. She is a very loving person and gives back in good what she can.

I sure hope she doesn't turn into the rapacious, hypocritical whore that Franklin Graham has.

wow, you are a piece of work with issues blaring in your post. Good day.

Kaepernick left San Francisco? Damn I need to get out more.

Yep, and the Seahawks were considering signing him. As far as I know, no one else has signed him yet. I wish him well.

When her MSNBC show was announced, I remember thinking how odd it was that someone who had worked for arch-conservative, rabidly pro-Trump Fox News could be comfortable, not to mention credible, at MSNBC which, of course, is leading the anti-Trump charge among the cable networks. When I finally got around to watching her show, I thought, how vanilla. Her “on the one hand, on the other” format was non-informative and, worse, missed the entire point of journalism, which is to distinguish between truth and fiction. Still, I thought I knew what Greta was trying to do: fair and balanced journalism, the kind Fox News claims, falsely, to practice. Get both sides together and have a reasoned discussion, to see if there’s common ground.
Greta Van Susteren: Lies, Truth And Journalism | HuffPost

Which turned into "Not confrontational enough, GET OUT!"

Only 6 months after they hired her.

Which is a "WTF!"

Graham is worth millions. He makes millions.

He stated that Trump's victory was from 'the hand of god'.

Sorry that you've been triggered. F. Graham is a whore for money and Mammon.

That you can't accept that says all that needs to be said.

" lot of people are slamming evangelicals for supposedly giving Donald J. Trump a pass. That’s simply not true. No one is giving him a pass. I’m certainly not, and I’ve not met an evangelical yet who condones his language or inexcusable behavior from over a decade ago. However, he has apologized to his wife, his family, and to the American people for this. He has taken full responsibility. This election isn’t about Donald Trump’s behavior from 11 years ago or Hillary Clinton’s recent missing emails, lies, and false statements. This election is about the Supreme Court and the justices that the next president will nominate. Evangelicals are going to have to decide which candidate they trust to nominate men and women to the court who will defend the constitution and support religious freedoms. My prayer is that Christians will not be deceived by the liberal media about what is at stake for future generations."

Let me put this plainly: He's. A. Whore.

I've always saw myself, since maybe 10 years old, as an activist journalist!

Then real life came along ....

I watched her MSNBC show and noted that she would invite Republicans one, have them say their piece and not challenge anything they said.

The show sucked anyway.

I watch a lot of MSNBC but rarely watched her show and even then only a few minutes while surfing. I really do not know why they got her in the first place.

Maybe you should pick a quote that doesn't make him sound so reasonable? Dude is basically saying, "I don't like Trump, but the Supreme Court is up for grabs."

I find your post not only appalling but pathetic.

Franklin Graham is an upright person. He has done much to send help relief to places most folks wouldn't think of going.

I was involve in his Ministry Samaritan's Purse for years making up shoe boxes to give to poor children throughout the world. It also asked for donations that would supply places like
Ethiopia with water purifying systems, farm tools to plant their own crops to fight famine. They even provided means to send live stock like chickens that produce eggs and others that produce food.

The shoebox mission gave out the needs for certain regions. I found out you can put a pair of flipflops, a couple of teeshirts rolled up real tight, deodorant, toothpaste, tooth brushes, yoyos, mini puzzles, notepads and pencils, comb, balsa airplanes, super bouncing balls in one box for a boy. For a girl, pretty much the same except girl oriented. LIke hair stuff, stuffed animals and dolls, but pretty much the same for hygiene purposes.

All the shoeboxes are done by age. I was honored for years working with this organization

MSNBC fires Greta Van Susteren, replaces her with liberal host | Fox News

Seems like we were just recently talking here at DP about how she brings little to the table, and of how no one seems to particularly like her.

Surely she is done now.....

I used to watch Greta on FOX News. I switched the channel when FOX News turned into the Trump media network. They have lost a lot of people lately. Megyn Kelly their top 2nd place viewership moved onto bigger waters on CBS, Bill O'Reilly the top producer is gone, and all they have left is Trump's physco babble interpreter Sean Hannity. That's why CNN is now number 1 and even Racheal Maddow of MSNBC is beating FOX News.

But WHY is CNN crushing Fox News in the ratings?

She committed the ultimate crime at MSNBC.

Real journalism.

And I always found her hard to watch just because of this.. I always said that she would go into "lawyer mode" and start asking guest such mundane questions as if she was in a trial questioning a witness...

I don't know what her personality is like but she seemed to me to be a good person..
