Here's the modern fairy tell that Isis would just love you to believe:

•White European woman enters the workforce, becomes an MTV star, and soon finds that her secular lifestyle as an independent woman has brought her nothing but trouble. In her desperation to find an alternative, she meets an Muslim Arabic man, falls in love, converts to Islam, and lives happily ever after.

As it turns out, the Huffington Post would also love for you to believe it:

BERLIN/LONDON ― In her early 20s, Kristiane Baker was having the time of her life. She was living her dream as a presenter for MTV Europe, brushing shoulders with celebrities like Mick Jagger and Bono on a regular basis ― and getting paid to do it. From the outside, it was everything she had ever hoped for. But on the inside, she sometimes felt a crushing sense of depression and anxiety that she couldn’t shake.

And then she met Imran Khan, the famous Pakistani cricketer who through music would lead her to Islam and a new sense of inner peace.

“He was my introduction to Islam,” she said of Khan. “I like to say I wasn’t looking, I was found.”

Oh boy, get excited ladies- after 40+ years of fighting for women's rights, many people in the media are going to encourage you to give all that up, and return to being the property of an abusive husband.

To top this all off, Baker has retweeted Tweets from radical Islamists that support jihad. I found this fact out while researching her. And yet HuffPo didn't know that she supports Jihadists? Or maybe they DO know.

Can't open your link at the moment but how did she give it all up to "return to being the property of an abusive husband"? She never married Khan. He married Jemima Goldsmith. (They have since divorced.)

Right, she never married Khan, she just slept with him for a bit. The relationship was kept hidden because Khan was embarrassed by her. She married Rachid Jafaar, whom expected her to be a traditional, subservient Muslim wife. They divorced. She has married another Muslim man, and stated that other Muslim women are interested in joining the marriage, as Muslim men are allowed multiple wives.

In a way, it's reminiscent of Patricia Hearst. Don't you think?

Reminds me of how some Mormons used to live and some still live now.

What should we do about this?

Fill us in.

Anyone can bring up a problem.Real people offer solutions.

I don't think that there is much that we can do without substantially reducing individual freedoms and protection of privacy.

We could arrest and convict the guilty for bigamy, but that would force some cops to get off of their backsides and do the job that they're paid to do.

How about we stop creating problems? Diversity never made a damn dollar for anyone besides Al Sharpton. So stop putting 'diversity' over the well being of the country.

A fine example of crazy, is the willingness to sink your own ship in order to gain revenge on one of your shipmates.

Think about that shrub.

Come back and tell us all about it after massive demographic change hits the GOP full force like a tidal wave in about 50 years.

When we stop pushing arms and illegal cluster bombs to the Wahabist Saudis I may begin to believe america gives a **** about radical Islam and women's rights in Muslim societies.
