Here's the modern fairy tell that Isis would just love you to believe:
•White European woman enters the workforce, becomes an MTV star, and soon finds that her secular lifestyle as an independent woman has brought her nothing but trouble. In her desperation to find an alternative, she meets an Muslim Arabic man, falls in love, converts to Islam, and lives happily ever after.
As it turns out, the Huffington Post would also love for you to believe it:
Oh boy, get excited ladies- after 40+ years of fighting for women's rights, many people in the media are going to encourage you to give all that up, and return to being the property of an abusive husband.
To top this all off, Baker has retweeted Tweets from radical Islamists that support jihad. I found this fact out while researching her. And yet HuffPo didn't know that she supports Jihadists? Or maybe they DO know.

BERLIN/LONDON ― In her early 20s, Kristiane Baker was having the time of her life. She was living her dream as a presenter for MTV Europe, brushing shoulders with celebrities like Mick Jagger and Bono on a regular basis ― and getting paid to do it. From the outside, it was everything she had ever hoped for. But on the inside, she sometimes felt a crushing sense of depression and anxiety that she couldn’t shake.
And then she met Imran Khan, the famous Pakistani cricketer who through music would lead her to Islam and a new sense of inner peace.
“He was my introduction to Islam,” she said of Khan. “I like to say I wasn’t looking, I was found.”
