The sad demise of faux conservative Jennifer Rubin

You missed her point. She was criticizing the original climate deal because it was weak. It looked good only on paper but had no real substance to make the necessary changes. Now she is criticizing Trump's obvious political move to pull out of what was a weak agreement at best. Both are criticisms of the shallowness of politicians. Her view on climate change remained the same. She has not changed her view on climate change nor shallow politicians who grandstand.
 
Well that's a very generous interpretation . Wrong , but generous. to her.
My guess is that some time in the past Trump dissed her and she hasn't forgotten.

Your interpretation is wrong due to your partisan blindness. Some conservatives are actually concerned with environmental issues, including climate change. She did not change her mind about climate change. And many conservatives are critical of Trump and still remain conservative. Denying climate change is not a conservative stand. You are really speculating that she has something personal against Trump and you have zero evidence of this.

Inhofe is one of only 22 Senators who signed a letter to Trump to back out of the Paris Accord. Only 22 out of 100 Senators. So Yes, I would call this the FAR-FAR Right. Better yet, call it the Fossil Fuel industry, because the 22 were almost all from those states.

She is not "outraged" as you put it. She is critical of the reasoning Trump used to pull out of the deal. She does not express any personal animus toward Trump.

Jonah Goldberg's G File is on point this week.

Longtime readers might remember one of my favorite quotes from Thoreau: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.” Similarly, if you find yourself wearing a rubber hat that looks like female genitalia, or if you star in a video in which you proudly display the bloody, decapitated head of the president and then claim that you’re the victim because people took offense, or even if you look in the mirror and to your horror discover that you’re Keith Olbermann, you may have something that could be called “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Nor do I think that every critic on the right is a voice of pure reason and restraint. I think Jennifer Rubin and Evan McMullin often get so far over their skis they look like flying T-squares.

And then, of course, there is Louise Mensch. The most reasonable theory for her antics of late is that she is so offended by Russian-backed fake news, she’s decided to fight fire with fire. Another is that she misread an article about micro-dosing of LSD to read “macro.”...
