Megyn Kelly Debuts on NBC

YIKES:

To make matters worse, Oliver Stone’s “The Putin Interviews,” where the filmmaker spent significantly more time with the Russian leader for a Showtime special, will air over four consecutive nights next week. They even watched “Dr. Strangelove” together. Poor Megyn Kelly.

Where Stone got more access, Kelly seemed to have little. She tried to deliver something substantive in under 10 minutes, and it wound up making her coming-out party more of a fizzle than a bang.

Ya know a whole lot of people are pretty sure that Kelly/Comcast is going to fail, and the reasons are pretty solid, this looks like a fine start.

She really needed to show up with the goods this time.

Yeah, I doubt she helped her career.

I think I said way back at the jump that Comcast taking Kelly, and especially at that price, sure indicates that Comcast does not know what they are doing.

This is more evidence.

I previously read the comments on the videos available regarding the interview and her moderation of that economic forum.

Sorry. She lost.

She wasn't ready to deal with him.

Sad, because Pooty needs his butt kicked (not licked) by an American.

More of the same:

EVEN PUTIN SEEMED BORED WITH MEGYN KELLY’S INTERVIEW
NBC’s big new premiere left everything still on the table.

There is no question that a sit-down with Putin this week, as federal investigators circle the sitting U.S. president’s inner circle, is a get for Kelly in her big debut. But getting the U.S.’s biggest antagonist is meaningless if you simply go through the motions once he’s there.

She nice to look at and she is bright...but for various reasons, she annoys me.

Her flaming out in spectacular fashion would be a popular attraction.

For those various reasons.

Its odd that they would even set up this meeting. Was NBC so desperate for ratings that they thought they could get Putin to say something like "Caught me, I hacked into America's elections and made Trump president." What a very boring interview.

The network's chairman Andy Lack flew to Russia this week to try to secure the interview, according insiders.
He will appeal to Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov to take part in the sit-down which would make Kelly's hotly anticipated debut on the network even more memorable

Why yes, I do believe we can call this desperation. All that promise, all that work, and this is what Megyn Kelly was able to deliver at the end of all that.

As Trump says, "Sad."

As Trump says, "Sad."

If things continue to go bad for her lots of folks will call it karma.

As for Comcast, heads have got to roll if this does not work, they created all that turmoil in NbCNews for this?

I suppose she thought she had the correct information to do it.
Unfortunately only the irrational would think that correct information would do it.
And by "correct information" I mean the bs the Intelligence Agency's released to the public.

John McAfee already destroyed the Intelligence Agency's version they let out to the public, and that is what she went with.

No competent government agency is going to leave such traces unless they are trying to make it look like said actor did it.
That is something our Agency's would do to Russia, not Russia to their self. If Russia did it they would make it look like we or another agency did it.
And for ****s sake, Russia, US, GB, Germany, Canada, Israel, etc... would be using the current version of the exploits, not older ones as was supposedly used here.

Ya know a whole lot of people are pretty sure that Kelly/Comcast is going to fail, and the reasons are pretty solid, this looks like a fine start.

She really needed to show up with the goods this time.

By using the same ole, same ole talking points it was not a good start. She didn't look or sound confident at all.

What would make this so cool is if this was Kelly's idea, enter with a bang, she talked the Comcast Brass into it, Andy Lick ****ing flew to Russia to make it happen groveling along the way all for,,,,,,,

this.

And now the NBC NEWS Shop is at "We all got shoved aside for,,,,,,,,

this?

"Who the **** is running this show??!!"

She nice to look at and she is bright...but for various reasons, she annoys me.

I still don't understand what happened and why she left FN. Isn't she a bit hypocritical working for NBC?
I wasn't impressed with her interview skills either and felt that she was leading until she had the answers she was looking for. She now seems to have found her match.

She's fallen victim to the Peter Principle.

She's tired.

What a step UP from FAUX News!

To a certain group, she was awesome while at Fox, inexplicably person non grata the moment she left.

Why?

The fact that they actually believed that Kelly, or anyone else at the network for that matter, was any match for Putin is incredibly naive on their part. Putin has been running circles around us for over a decade. What did they actually think they were going to get out of him?

Self inflicted fail this was.

With "They" including even the chairman of NBC...But you know I talk regularly on the subject on how the American Elite Suck so this does not come as a complete shock to me. What is really delish about this is that the Comcast brain trust thought that they were letting no stone go unturned in the effort to make sure that this Megyn Kelly expensive and disruptive gambit works, but what they were really doing was setting her up to fail. And if she fails then they fail. And this looked like a likely failure from the moment they said that they were bringing Kelly on, giving her what ever she wants, she who has made it her lifes work to muck-up every place she goes, and then need to leave.

Of course if you go look at what the so-called journalists are saying about Comcast/Kelly/Putin I dont thing you will find anyone talking about any of this.

Because they suck.
