Kelly Putin Interview. What an odd pairing:
Megyn Kelly gets outmaneuvered by Vladimir Putin on her NBC premiere 'Sunday Night' - LA TimesTo make matters worse, Oliver Stone’s “The Putin Interviews,” where the filmmaker spent significantly more time with the Russian leader for a Showtime special, will air over four consecutive nights next week. They even watched “Dr. Strangelove” together. Poor Megyn Kelly.
Where Stone got more access, Kelly seemed to have little. She tried to deliver something substantive in under 10 minutes, and it wound up making her coming-out party more of a fizzle than a bang.
Yeah, I doubt she helped her career.YIKES:

I previously read the comments on the videos available regarding the interview and her moderation of that economic forum.I think I said way back at the jump that Comcast taking Kelly, and especially at that price, sure indicates that Comcast does not know what they are doing.
This is more evidence.

NBC’s big new premiere left everything still on the table.

There is no question that a sit-down with Putin this week, as federal investigators circle the sitting U.S. president’s inner circle, is a get for Kelly in her big debut. But getting the U.S.’s biggest antagonist is meaningless if you simply go through the motions once he’s there.
She nice to look at and she is bright...but for various reasons, she annoys me.
Its odd that they would even set up this meeting. Was NBC so desperate for ratings that they thought they could get Putin to say something like "Caught me, I hacked into America's elections and made Trump president." What a very boring interview.
The network's chairman Andy Lack flew to Russia this week to try to secure the interview, according insiders.
He will appeal to Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov to take part in the sit-down which would make Kelly's hotly anticipated debut on the network even more memorable

Why yes, I do believe we can call this desperation. All that promise, all that work, and this is what Megyn Kelly was able to deliver at the end of all that.
As Trump says, "Sad."
I suppose she thought she had the correct information to do it.Sorry. She lost.
She wasn't ready to deal with him.
Sad, because Pooty needs his butt kicked (not licked) by an American.
Ya know a whole lot of people are pretty sure that Kelly/Comcast is going to fail, and the reasons are pretty solid, this looks like a fine start.
She really needed to show up with the goods this time.

To a certain group, she was awesome while at Fox, inexplicably person non grata the moment she left.
Why?
The fact that they actually believed that Kelly, or anyone else at the network for that matter, was any match for Putin is incredibly naive on their part. Putin has been running circles around us for over a decade. What did they actually think they were going to get out of him?
Self inflicted fail this was.
I think it has something to do with her wherever.
