Does Hannity Want Out?

Glad you follow it so closely. Proud of you.

I watch and listen to a variety of sources, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, BBC, RTE, its good to hear from a multitude of mainstream media sources.

So you are obsessed, not my problem.

I think Hannity's co-workers want him out because he is just a tremendous douchebag and they can't stand him, but that's about it.

Hannity is a huge tool. The guy is unwatchable. He just browbeats his guests by repeating the same question over and over again and specializes in unsubstantiated claims and wild conspiracy theories. He is all that MSNBC's Rachel Maddow aspires to become. She even adopted his haircut. FoxNews would be much better without him.

Yep, they got rid of Beckel (again) and should get rid of Hannity and Pirro. It looks like they might just do that with Jr. now in charge.

That is called a rounded education.

You should try it as opposed to watching severely biased YouTube videos.

Yeah. Pirro.... my god. She's like listening to nails on a chalkboard. Who was the genius that brought that woman on board? I usually disagreed with Beckel's views and he was clearly a DNC party hack, but he was pretty entertaining. Also, when he was being candid, which would happen every so often, he actually had some good insight into party politics.

Right now, on FoxNews, the only people I find interesting and informative are Tucker Carlson and Greg Guttfeld. Dana Perino is usually even keeled and sometimes has some good insights into things. Jesse Waters is funny as a guy roaming the street asking questions, but, in studio, he's like a young Hannity. Not as bright as his little bit makes him appear. Juan Williams has become less and less interesting over time, but I think he's been boxed into giving far left opinions in order to contrast with whomever he is being placed next to. I used to like Guilfoyle, but, damn, she keeps getting surgery and she's hard to look at, let alone take seriously.

I guess that's my entire breakdown on the Fox News lineup... Felt like going on a rant. :)

A fine rant it was. ;)

Don't forget Calrson.

Hannity and Pirro are much worse though. It's laughable to think that anyone thinks they are worthy of a tv show.

Carlson is OK in small doses (certainly no worse than O'Reilly was) but I do miss Greta Van Susteren and Megyn Kelly.

I didn't watch much but always thought O'reilly was better than Carlson. Not that I care much for either. Both lightyears ahead of Hannity.

Sustern was good when she stayed away from the fluff/celebrity stuff. When she took part in substantive issues, she could be a good source of information. Kelly, nice legs, and she started off as a really good interviewer, but kind of lost her edge before she left Fox.

Right wing megahack being the asshole that he is.

Good riddance.

A day after he claimed he would stop "reporting" on the Seth Rich Story, Hannity is now complaining that his advertisers are leaving him for "political reasons". No, Hannity it's because you don't know when to admit you are wrong!

This leads some to believe that he is tarnishing himself since he was put on a leash by Fox Execs. On tuesday he tweeted this:

Advertisers Exit Sean Hannity FNC Show As He Continues Peddling Murder Conspiracy Theory | Deadline
Exactly what Trump said regarding birtherism

Only if true and even Hannity admits that it may not be.

I haven't listened to him in quite some time, but I'm not aware Hannity has ever admitted the massive influence of outfits like the Democracy Alliance, which have specifically identified Media Matters as a focus of their "largess", may not be true.

I'd be very interested in reading quotes from Hannity to that effect.

Why?

You are on TV at the pleasure of your advertisers. If you piss off a large segment of the market the company advertising on your show is trying to capture, why should what you say be protected?

Sounds to me like you want some big government thing stopping free market forces. Who knew?

I think it's a very dangerous thing for advertisers and the public to bow to the pressure of liberal fascists who demand they be allowed to determine what people can and can't say.

Really stupid to suggest I want some big government thing stopping free market forces, when that is EXACTLY what the rabid left is pushing for.

The boiler room types need better directions on how to make an rational argument.

PFFFT. It has nothing to do with a political agenda. If it did, why didn't Cars.com pull out two years ago when Hannity started backing Trump publicly? I will wait patiently for your response.

LOL.

You've answered your own question. Too funny.

Umm. Cars.com didn't pull out two years ago, because the political pressure and fascist witch hunt the left is on hadn't been so extreme then.

The left has developed a weapon to use against conservative media to silence it.

When advertizers are harrassed by a well-organized effort to influence them they cave in and in that way opposition to the liberal message loses an advocate.

The left is very devious but also clever and is having success.

It was then clear that a buffoon like Trump had no chance to stop the sage and experienced Hillary from ascending to the WH. ;)

My answer to the question would be that two years ago Cars.com was not targeted as a sponsor of Hannity and now they are

Yet neither Trump nor Hannity have changed the key difference is that Hillary lost and Trump won. The idea is to punish those seen as accomplices in the crime of helping to deny Hillary becoming POTUS.

Ever hear of the Dixie Chicks? I guess when the Right shuts down speech with boycotts and threats or beats up reporters, it's not fascist. But, when the Left starts a write-in effort to protest something they don't like, the Right sees jack boots.

LOL

Dixie Chicks? A little trip in the WayBack Machine Mr. Peabody?

Ever heard of Berkeley? Stanford?

You don't want to go down the road of who is shutting down free speech. That is a no win effort for you calamity.

2003 is not the "way back machine," and last Wednesday night most certainly was not.
