DNC sued by member of it's own party

Did Rand Paul's supporters bring down the GOP? By being such sore losers, Bernie zealots are alienating the majority of the Democrats. They want nothing to do with them...or Antifa..or anarchists...or Alt-right...or Neo-Nazi's....or Trump.

Nice smear by association there, did you practice it in the mirror?

Moot, once in a while you need to try to approach things from more than a gut level approach. Sanders supporters are much, much more likely to be democratic voters. Democrats need to find ways to bring them in and not run them down. Little tents don't win elections.

You don't see this on the liberal media at all.
DNC battling class-action suit alleging Sanders was robbed in 2016 | Fox News

it seems that there are 2 class action lawsuits against the DNC.

1. For what amounts to election fraud
2. The other wage lawsuit for not paying at least minimum wage and refusing to pay overtime.

why is this now in the liberal media I wonder?

Probably because the whole "election fraud" thing isn't going anywhere. Hillary got more votes, that's why she was the candidate. There was no election fraud against Sanders. He didn't get as many votes. The DNC has the right to choose their nominee how they see fit. I disagree with parts of the process, but nothing was illegal or stolen. This is another "hey stop looking at Trump" story with no legs.

Resorting to personal insults now are we? That's usually the last resort of snakes and scoundrels...which means our discussion is over. What a pity.

Considering the world we live in, people have no right to expect the nomination process to be "fair" or "just". But people do. When it becomes quite obvious it was not, people have strong, lasting opinions about the process. The challenge for the DNC going forward is to appear to be above board as possible while still trying to ensure the candidate most likely to win becomes the candidate.

They did not accomplish that very well in the last election. They should examine their nomination process and delegate apportionment. Just my opinion.

Moot you are reacting emotionally. You made a smear by association in your post. There is no insult. If you think there is, you know what to do. Our discussion is over because I am making uncomfortable points.

I don't think they were nearly as "unfair" as people are pretending. There certainly was no grand conspiracy. But I agree they didn't play the political game around these accusations very well at all.

Actually, I was enjoying our little debate until you got emotional and started using personal attacks...which in my mind meant you were losing the debate. So I ended it...because you don't know when to concede. Come to think of it...that's the same problem Bernie zealots have.

Again, Moot, if you think I'm making personal attacks, there is a remedy for that. You are using that as an excuse to back out of the argument while tossing a zealot label at me in the process. The passive aggressive is off the charts.

If it costs the party votes in the main election, it doesn't really matter does it? The DNC looks like they played favorites. They will have to do the same thing politicians do with recusals, avoid even the appearance of impropriety.

The fact you placed unfair in quotes means you recognize the optics were terrible, even if they were innocent. Which, if you can believe politicians are innocent, I have some time shares to sell you ;)

The truth does actually matter to me. I'd prefer that others not be led astray with bull**** as well, but humans will be humans. We aren't perfect.

Honestly I would have discussed the rest of the post more fully. shrug

The rest of the post was insignificant. Not really worth the time. Speculation, what looks to be assumptions etc.

If you want to improve optics there are things that can be done. Again, shrug.

Never said there wasn't. I agreed they didn't play the optics very well. Do you have a point or do you like meandering?

:doh do you not understand that votes only matter as far as winning delegates?
The case can be made that the DNC rigged the election in her favor as she won 90% of the super delegates even though she didn't
win in those states.

as for the rest it is to be settled in court.

no this is another bias in the liberal main stream media.

Allocation of Super delegates are not connected with the state peoples primary vote. So why does this matter?

Even if you take away all the super delegates she still won. This is the exact same thing that everyone complained about in 08. Obama had no chance because Clinton would get all the supers. And then Obama started winning and the supers started moving to Obama. You'd have a very fair point if Sanders had gotten more votes or more regular delegates than Clinton. But he didn't. He lost in total votes, regular delegates, superdelegates and every mix thereof.

So please explain to me how this was rigged when this is the system they have used for a long time and even without the superdelegates, she still would have won hands down?

Bernie supporters are just bitter, whiney, cry baby, sore losers...that's all.

The irony of that being stated by a 2016 Hillary supporter is just too LOUD.

Congratulations....you are one the most uniformed posters on DP. But that's not Obama's fault...it's yours.

Consider yourself better informed then by my last post. Glad to help.
