Rachel Maddow has become the master of lies without actually lying. Called spin or half truth or semantic creativity, she still lies. Here is how it works:

She brings a story from some far left blog and pontificates something on the order of, "this is a tragedy of justice" or something.
Next night she notes how no other media has taken this up with investigation or publication of her facts and she thereby accuses FOX and other rightists of not covering the real news... thus implying that they are all about just fake news.
Of course it always turns out that the other news agencies didn't cover it simply because there was no real story there.
And this is how she lies and convinces viewers in her bubble to pay no attention to the other guys and tune in here tomorrow night where you can get fair and balanced news.

Neat trick if your viewers are pretty ignorant to start with.

Maddow - "Since the dawn of time, volcanoes have been perceived by many cultures to be an opening to Hell. Their lava destroys villages and buries civilizations. We are told, even today, that a super volcano can probably destroy the earth as we know it. Now, knowing all that, is it any surprise that for his dessert last night Donald Trump, leader of the free world, had chocolate lava cake? That's right. Knowing that any second the world could be destroyed by a volcano he still ate chocolate lava cake."
