Reality 1:

President Trump fired the FBI director who was investigating his campaign’s connection with Russia — and then the next day, Trump shared classified information with Russian officials.

[...]

Comey wanted to expand the Russia investigation just days before his termination.

Reality 2:

  • Trump fired FBI Director James Comey for his mishandling of the Clinton investigation and his stubborn insistence on continuing the Russia investigation despite no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
  • The liberal media drove this narrative to take down Trump, who only wanted the investigation “done properly,” and then started to question Trump’s mental stability.
  • The “deep state” leaked classified info to the Washington Post. Plus, Trump has the right to disclose classified information to Russians, and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster agrees.
  • Comey is getting revenge with memos that reveal Trump asked him to shut down the investigation into his first national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

My reality is waiting for the investigations to complete. I think many on both sides of the aisle just want clarifications and answers to put this behind us once and for all.

There have been enough contradictory statements within the administration make my head spin.

My reality is there is a lot of smoke but I still am unconvinced of an actual fire.

The Mueller appointment is intriguing because of where it came from and what that typically means. Of course, typical seems to be a historical term.

The media is doing its job, period. Like I said there is a lot of smoke. The media cannot ignore that.

Remember, the media did not ignore the birther movement, bengahzi, irs, etc... The conservative media has tried to claim otherwise and it isn't true.

Reality is that the DOJ without Sessions at the head of this investigation is now out to get Trump.

Those aren't the only two choices. But if you had the grasp of reality you pretend to have, you would know that already and wouldn't need me to point it out to you.

You must be nursing some wounds from another thread because I haven't said anything in this one yet.

The fact is that nobody has enough facts yet to make any pronouncements. Obviously, this hasn't deterred some from leaping to conclusions. ;)

It seems few are making predictions but depending on bias/perspective some are being sensitive when possible outcomes are discussed. Conservatives are taking those discussions out of context.
To be fair, some on the left are discussing some extreme outcomes so making that an easy opportunity.

What is it that people think russia did to win the election for trump?

If russia did influence the election with trumps approval, is that crime?

It might make him dispicable for many but unless their evidence trump hired them to do his dirty work, this is much ado about nothing.

At this point its a dead issue for me. They have had months of investigating and anonymous sourced "leaks" that have only resulted in vauge innuendo. If somebody has a specific charge they have yet to make it.

Mostly #2

I'm living in the reality that our culture is broken and we are becoming a nation of tribes. The rich and well off will continue to prosper, and the rest will ignored and left to the solace of drugs, booze, and chaos.

It should be apparent to most that we don't have much use for an American workforce anymore, and even less for the American culture. It is being replaced by a society where everyone flies their own flag and does their own thing.

It's because they want to belong to something big, but don't want to join a church, or the Elks, or something.

Yep, this. The reality is that no one has all of the facts, therefore, no one knows exactly what's going on. People who already have Trump impeached or those who already have Sainted him don't live in reality.

Not big, huge

Seriously though i was asking a sincere question. What is it that people think trump did?

He won the election they claim was theirs to win, not his. Therefor in their minds, he is illigetimate. The people who can't accept it and move are not dealing with a full deck.

The reality I see is that Trump is trying very hard and, considering his opposition doing passably well, in trying to fulfill his campaign promises.

The reality I see is that the Mainstream Media is trying very hard and doing very well in trying to rouse the rabble against Trump.

I equate the concern about Trump talking with the Russians during his campaign in the same vein as Clinton's impeachment: nothing more than partisan stupidity where one side is whining and crying that the other side won and creating a problem when there is none. Unless there is specific evidence that Trump talking to the Russians during his campaign somehow caused him to win... and I have NO CLUE as to how that sequence follows any logic, I have no interest in "Russiagate". IMO, Trump was a stupid choice as President, but people voted for him, legitimately, and HE WON. Talking to the Russians had no effect on people voting him into office. I think Trump is handling this very poorly... similar to how Clinton handled things, but that doesn't mean he did anything wrong in speaking to the Russians.

This is smoke. It'd be nice if we could actually discuss some of the real issue that are affecting this country, like healthcare and the economy.
