Morning Joe: Kellyanne Secretly Hates Trump; Doing this for the money

Wow breaking news, employee hates boss and keeps job for the money. Shocking!

Right, but at the same time I was always under the impression that she did quite well for herself, so it's not like she was living paycheck-to-paycheck.

If she were smart she'd have jumped ship after the election. That was when her stock and reputation was at its highest.

That was my first thought. I'm not a fan of Kellyanne, but that was a ****ting thing to do.

I actually think pretty highly of her, so that may sway my thinking, but I'm skeptical this happened as reported. I'm thinking she's not dumb enough to go around grousing about her position in public when just anyone can overhear.

She may have done quite well for herself but she wasn't making headline news like she is with this gig. So I guess, I could edit my response to says "keeps job for the money and infamy".

Correct, she wasn't a household name. She was respected in inner circles, however. And maybe that's why she took the job, to increase her exposure. I could see that. But that's why I said she should have left the day after the election. Partially hindsight, but that occurred to me at the time, too. Go out at #1 and that's what people will remember.

Now, she's tainted.

According to polling... if you want to read into it...

Trump's most recent approval rating, Post-Comey firing is 39% Approve, 61% Disapprove

That means his base, didn't care. It didn't move his base's numbers at all. Perhaps a point or two. The numbers are still the same. Trump's approval rating has always hovered around the high 30s, low 40s. Since the Comey firing, that may have enraged that 61% that disapprove of Trump. It could have instigated and stoked, mobilized, and energized their hatred. I don't know. The post-Russia national secrets poll, I expect will be the same. Because that 39% that approve of him, believes all negative coverage of Trump is fake news.

Funny that, that 39% you speak of, think they are the majority and too often speak for what "America wants," or "America needs," or "America thinks this or that."

Their bubble has blinded them to the fact that most of America cannot stand Donald Trump.

Wanna make one of them stutter? Ask them, "Yes or no. Is Donald Trump a liar?"

The world knows is. America knows he is. Even they know he is. But try to get them to come out and say "Yes, he is a liar," a well known fact, and watch them "hem and haw" about this well known fact.

Sanders did that to Kasich last night on the townhall debate. Ol' Kasich had that "deer in the headlight's" look. LOL! He didn't want to call Trump a liar but he knew if he didn't, that would make him a liar. Squirmy moment. LOL!

Because they cant trust what is coming from the major media. Nor should they. Let the investigations happen and see what happens. That's prudent, its a sign they aren't willing to declare him guilty because the news says so.

Yeah? Ask the 39% Trumpkin's if Hillary is guilty or not, (even though a zillion man-hours and dollars couldn't bring any charges,) and see what they say. "LOCK HER UP!"

The hypocracy is glaring.

Face it. You guy's picked a losing horse. He is making you all look like idiots.

It's like betting on the Chicago Bears. People just gonna shake their head at you all.

But they got a right to be as whacky as they want to be and I back that right 100% (even though I laugh at them when they walk away.)

Is it just me or does revealing that strike anyone else as being in bad taste? Seems like an off the record type of comment.

Meh. If you willingly lie, dissemble and deceive for a politician as she has, my sympathy for you will go down the toilet. Nobody put a gun to her head and made her take the job. And if she believes she's obligated to work for Trump then somebody needs to inform her of the 13th amendment.

I also can't think of anybody I've worked for that made me want to take a shower afterwards.

That's fair.

I did work for someone like that before. I always had to go around and fix the messes he made without bad mouthing him. Though in my case it wasn't voluntary.

LOL Trumpkins. So much for having a rational discussion. You have an emotional argument, get a real one and we will talk.

So what exactly do you think you are accomplishing when posting pieces from a hack job article? Do you believe this? Do you think it matters? Do you think others believe this? Do you hope to convert people with this?

Just wondering.

I doubt it. I'm pretty picky on who I go back and forth with.

So many members, so little time.

Time management.

And she, uncharacteristically, has been silent on the matter.

This is exactly why I think Conway either really pissed off Scarborough's executives or else she gave Morning Joe permission to "leak" this conversation. There's almost no way that Scarborough releases this all on his own; that's just way too ballsy for him or his co-host to do. I see motivations both ways, but I think that it's more likely that Conway wants off the sinking, rat-infested ship and thinks it'll be good if she gets fired by Trump before he goes down, so she can look noble. Dude, his favorables after these past two weeks? If this keeps up, they will dip into the 20's.

Personally, I think it's more likely that Conway just wants off the Trump train ASAP, and this is a good, good way to do it.

Maybe she's manufacturing her "out" and this is her strategy to reclaim some of her diminished reputation.
