Which I simply read as "yes, I'm brainwashed, here's evidence of it!"

Government is not monolithic. Just as some racists may consider all Mexicans to be lazy, some just shift that to "all government is corrupt, incompetent and partisan". That you don't see the parallel is the issue.
Then you replace "bad government", with Trump and extremely political partisans, who liberally use their money and power like all politicians, to control and gain more power.

And you call that the solution to corrupt government? You call Trump the solution to incompetent government? You call the alt-right the solution to partisan politics? Yes, you're really making a case for reason.

It is not monolithic. With that I agree. However it is uniformly corrupt, incompetent and partisan. The rest of your post was a partisan rant with no relation to my post.

These are logical questions to ask if you feel it was so corrupt and partisan and incompetent, you replaced it with Trump and co. so is it partisan to ask if you think you solved those things?
You call Trump the solution to incompetent government?
You call the alt-right the solution to partisan politics?

What's your point. this thread is discussing the buying of our nation, by wealthy Oligarchs, through their extremely well-financed lobbies, their defamation lawsuits, and their lying media outlets. Are the non-whites, which you seem to fear so much, throwing that kind of money around?

How Trump governs remains to be seen. But I always been in favor of individual freedom, liberty over government control of our daily lives. All too often the government has offered security in return for obedience to it and the loss of individual freedom, liberty and choices. I would prefer a central government, federal if you will that only does what is specified in Article I, section 8 of the Constitution and leaves everything else to the states or the people.

I would claim that, if the extremely wealthy Oligarchs have bought America, the freedom and liberty are somewhat of a farce. Just take a look at the salary increases of top executives for the last 25 years, versus the poor and middle class. People don't feel free, when they are tied to a job for their entire lives, with no hope of a decent retirement. Pensions are a phenomenon of the past. Company matching funds to 401Ks is way down. At one time, many companies were offering 50% matches. Lucky if they get 10% today. Now I will admit, this is more Corporate Board Room, than politics.

However, as I mentioned, politically, the wealthy dominate with lobbies, propaganda lawsuits, propaganda media, etc.

I didn't replace anything with Trump. I am not partisan. I despise the concept of political parties. Government doesn't solve things. I didn't call Trump the solution to anything. The solution to partisan politics is to ban political parties. You don't understand me at all. If you can't see the corruption and incompetence in federal government, then be sure to keep a back up pair of rose colored glasses for future needs.

Three months in, it is rather apparent how Trump governs--very much like Richard Nixon did, and very much like his predecessors. He wants to gut any spending on or for the people, and enhance spending on war making. He governs for the most part like a fascist.

Yes, I've also noticed over a period of time how often libs do that. Periodically they will make an argument instead of nitpicking. In fact, the only period they don't go after typing errors is when they talk about Trump. It's like they are always on their period or something.
 
Oligarchs due have control over our government and those Oligarchs having that control comes from a ........... democratic FORM of government.

which is why the founders created republican Form of government to prevent that from taking place, but because people are uneducated on government....... Oligarchs happen.
