Why Were the 7,000 Antisemitic Incidents Under Obama Largely Ignored?[W:32]

Re: Why Were the 7,000 Antisemitic Incidents Under Obama Largely Ignored?

I think it also has a self-fulfilling prophesy effect. If you were to run for office and the media constantly talked about how racist you were you'd probably end up getting more support from racists. If they talk about how racism is everyone and there is an environment now where it's OK to be racists then racists will be more open about it.

Right. It's all in our heads. Trump did not whip up anti-immigrant sentiment or call Obama a foreigner and Bannon is not Trumps right hand man. I don't have any idea where all of it came from.

And bringing up Bannon makes what point? I've asked many times for people to provide proof for all the accusations against him and the best they come up with is claims made by his ex-wife and some random quote, devoid of any context or backing, provided by Mother Jones.

B. Hussein Obama has associated with Jew-haters for a long time--Khalidi, Wright, and Sharpton, just to cite three examples. And I have never thought it was coincidence that he was consistently more hostile to Israel than any other U.S. President since Israel was created in 1948--even Jimmy Carter.

Yeah! And what about the way Lyndon Johnson used to act? Don,t forget that!

If Lyndon Johnson disliked Jews, I have never seen evidence of it.

It was a joke. Obama is about as relevant as Johnson for Trump supporters trying to deflect from the fact their Dear Leader is lying his ass off again.

The real liar in all of this is Mr. Obama.

Obama is a retired civil servant. Your boy Trump is front and center with a target pinned to him, lying his ass off.

Re: Why Were the 7,000 Antisemitic Incidents Under Obama Largely Ignored?

Anti-Semitism is generally ignored in the US and has been since forever. The reason it is now in the media, is the massive spike in attacks and incidents, in-conjunction with a known anti-Semite running the White House. Hard to avoid hundreds of overturned headstones in a Jewish cemetery..

The only "massive spike" is in the press reporting on incidents. The actual number of incidents hasn't changed much.

Which is the point of this thread.
