Natural News Scrubbed From Google Search

Forgive my ignorance

But whjo/what was natural news?

Never heard of them, but am a big fan of Dr. Novella and the SGU so I'll take his word for it that they were crackpots.

I have been listening to that podcast for 10 straight years. If only news media used that level of critical thinking.

Wow I picked up a random blog source and it appears to be one of the best sites out there? I have never heard of this blog until today. So maybe I'll stick with it.

I'm a fan of alternative research but that site always turned me off. Never trusted it. Almost everything they posted was crackpot and sensational.

What I don't like is that Google has the kind of power to make a site go from popular to unheard of or vice versa. That's too much control for one entity. I should be able to decide for myself if a site isn't valid, rather than never seeing it because some corporation blotted it out of sight.

And give his weekly podcast, SGU (Skeptic's Guide to the Universe) a try. It focuses on science, skeptical thinking, and debunking pseudoscience. They are politically neutral except for when politics and science intersect.
