"Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny results

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Nope. Going by your logic, all people are responsible for the actions of a few members of, or even single individuals within, their group.

And that brings us to the word of the day. See if this sounds like anyone you've encountered recently.

bigot:
a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially one who regards or treats the members of a group with hatred and intolerance

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

I believe you said something earlier about being "overly dramatic?"

Slavery was a cause of the Confederacy, because it was basically the foundation of their entire economy. It was not, however, the only one, and it's importance varied from state-to-state. Virginia, for example, actually had a strong moral abolitionist streak. Robert E. Lee counted himself among its number.

That's all besides the point, however, as I already said that the South's cause was wrong. I simply acknowledge that doesn't mean every man fighting for it was some kind of monster, deserving of eternal hatred.

And uber-Liberal, "Social Justice Warrior," California is apparently a veritable hotbed of such sentiments.

Again, do you actually have a point here, or are you just running your mouth for its own sake?

I'm pretty damn sure that not a single person here denied that Lynching African Americans was a "bad" thing.

How about you stop lying through your teeth?

Again, the lying. You've got to cut that crap out, Marine.

Are you seriously defending blatant war crimes now? How deep does your blind hate run exactly? :screwy:

Even Sherman admitted that his acts were nothing more than pointless vengeful destruction for its own sake alone. That was the whole idea.

LOL. Like I said... You are clearly ignorant of actual history.

Yeah... And?

You clearly don't understand the concept of either inductive or deductive reasoning.

Slavery was literally the founding principle of the Confederacy. Everything else revolved around it. For all its abolitionist sentiment, Virginia had more than a few slave holders.

California is all talk. They aren't actually going to break away. But Texas tried it before, which is why you have to consider taking them seriously.

Gee, the reaction to me stating that all they needed to do was at least acknowledge the crimes of their ancestors sure didn't get that reaction. What did y'all think I was talking about, bad driving?

And yes, you've definitely flailed about.

Once again, no sane general would leave a major rail hub intact in his rear. I have no sympathy for traitors or people who own slaves. The south happened to fall into both categories during the Civil War, then spent the next hundred years making life hell for African Americans.

Sherman's actions were a physicological message to the south---that it was time for them to wake up and cease their idiocy.

John Wesley Hardin didn't seem to agree with you. He was pissed that African American police could arrest him.

You really don't get it?

I was talking about your O'Reilly comment, which was a blatant lie you made up in another effort to prop up your bogus beliefs.

Gee, did O'Reily say those words? He did? Then it's not a lie, buddy.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Gee, did O'Reily say those words? He did? Then it's not a lie, buddy.

It was taken out of context as I have already said. O'Reilly was talking specifically about the slaves that helped build the WH, not slaves in general, as those who put politics above the truth like yourself would have people believe.

You seem to have a lack of understanding of what constitutes "racism" and what constitutes "racially insensitive". You really need to educate yourself because they are 2 totally different things.

.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Gee buddy, are you equating hangings carried out as sentences for a crime committed with lynchings? Because the two aren't the same thing. Not even close.

No, buddy, I'm talking about lynchings.

Are you saying that there haven't been any lynchings of white folks in America?

Daily Wire - "Racism Simulator" changes word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles

I love it! It points out the blatant hypocrisy (and, in some regards, horror) of this latest, ridiculous and hateful, Left Wing fad rather nicely.
I think there may be some merit in discussions about how different races view race differently.

Alot of those articles were probably started with the intent to help well-meaning "white" people understand things better.

But.

What we really need is a discussion about inequality that doesn't just focus on races and their interactions, but also on social class, economic class, etc.
It's all tied together, to one degree or another, and focusing on one specific interaction allows us to ignore the other interactions that may be causing as much or more problems.

But the slaves who helped build the White House weren't treated well either. Pretending they were is rather amusing, but also wrong.

No, buddy, I'm talking about lynchings.

Are you saying that there haven't been any lynchings of white folks in America?

There have been a handful, mostly of Italian American immigrants. As I posted earlier, the most infamous incident happened in New Orleans.

More than a handful.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

More than a handful.

No, not really. Overwhelmingly the targets of lynch mobs were African Americans, or, out west, Native Americans or Asian immigrants. Usually white people got at least a show trial before they strung them up.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Gee buddy. When white people start getting hung from trees for even glancing in the direction of a African American lady, call me.

Until then, your "white people are the real victims" **** rings hollow.

When was the last time that happened?

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Who denies that bad things happened in the past?

Remember he is still in school, so he gets his information from his teachers.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

How will you react when you realize that in the civilized world, people are capable of acknowledging when their ancestors did something wrong? The Germans and Japanese are both capable of it, but apparently not y'all.

When you get out into the real world you will realize that the past doesn't matter as much as you think it does.

You will be struggling to survive day to day like any other adult.

If you still want to live in the past, you will have a very hard life.

What was that quote again?

Oh, yeah.

"Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it".

Police officials said the incident early Thursday in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park appeared to be a suicide. The city's mayor, Kasim Reed, said evidence suggested “no foul play.”

That's the best evidence of current day lynchings you could find?

You are right. I am sure slavery will come roaring back.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Gee, and what's happening in the now?

You've got people still flying the confederate flag and claiming that slavery "wasn't that bad".

So no one's getting hanged then?

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

Oh, some more really recent, relevant news.

You realize that was only as far back as the 1980s, there are many living people who suffered that era.

Re: "Racism Simulator" turns word "White" to "Black" in MSM articles, with funny resu

When black people start getting hung from trees for even glancing in the direction of some lady, call me.

Quit living in the past. Embrace the now. What happened 100 years ago isn't an excuse for racial prejudice in the present day, against people who literally haven't done jack crap to you, besides be born with a certain skin color.

The now is that people who were systematically discriminated against in voting, in finding a job, in schooling, heck, even drinking at a drinking fountain, are around to tell you about what it was like. And their children have not had the same privileges because they grew up in crime, with lack of education, with battling drugs and gang cultures, as a result. If an entire demographic can be discriminated against because of the color of their skin, they can be helped because of the color of their skin. This isn't racism. It's just fairness.

Oh, people are still getting hung---- it's just that nobody is printing up commenative post cards anymore.

On the website the religion of peace, they did the same sort of thing awhile ago...they took a passage from the Quran, replaced the words Christians and Jews with the word Muslim and, if an IUI had read it, they would have been screaming the usual words of racist (because for some reason that escapes me, some people still insist on linking Islam with racism) and would have demanded that something be done. Because the passage is in the Quran, they would keep very quiet about it. It wasn't funny, it was a head-nodding, yep kind of thing.
