Scarborough lists the "fake news" stories MSM have used against Trump

I hope you're not implying that I'm part of the "Trump brigade", because that would be incorrect.

Liberal bias is liberal bias and that's what this thread is centered on.

Just ignore it.

Wasn't it 267 days before Clinton held a press conference? Remember when she was literally roped off from the press? Bad optics, that. She was so supremely confident that she chose not to visit three states that turned out to be pivotal. Hubris.

Scarborough is absolutely right.... The mainstream news media so badly wants to destroy Donald Trump, that they jump on any story that they think might help to accomplish that, without taking the time to first verify it.

There has never in my memory, been anywhere near the amount of fake stories put out by the mainstream news media against an elected president, than what we have witnessed against Donald Trump in the 3 months since he was elected. In fact, Scarborough at the very beginning of that clip, pointed out where a media headline today said Sean Spicer Hits Back After Mean SNL Parody, implying that Spicer took offense and had some unkind words to say to the folks at SNL... which of course was totally false on both accounts.

The Spicer bit on SNL was terrific and I heard Spicer said it was funny.
And Scarborough is right.
The media is screwing themselves if they keep doing what they're doing.

This is why people pay less and less attention to the media.

You can trust nothing they say. Ever.

I dont disagree, but it SHOULD matter in a democratic republic...

Europeans constantly get this wrong. In a Democratic Republican the popular vote does not matter ever. If democracy matters so much to you then tell me how many Europeans voted for the E.U. president of the parliament?

More pipe dreams. While you demonize the other side because they don't believe your parties message, this is what is really happening:

The catastrophic fall of the Democratic Party
Democrats in the Wilderness - POLITICO Magazine

You guys need to look at the real problems your party has rather than comfort yourselves with meaningless predictions.

I'm not a Democrat.

When you're reporting complete falsehoods, it's fake new, not reporting with bias.

Which is what I said, they are two different things.

It's the liberal bias that's so prevalent throughout the mainstream news media (aka hatred for Trump and utter disdain for the political right) that's responsible for this happening... That bias is the reason that so many journalist and reporters at networks and newspapers across the country, have run with so many of these fake stories instead of doing what they normally would do, which is to first verifying their authenticity before broadcasting or publishing them. Because these fake news stories fit the political narrative they embrace, they assume they must be true and run with them... You know, the way Dan Rather ran with the Bush National Guard story.

Wow, you are far gone.

Sad.

Sad.

If I'm so "far gone" as you claim, then surely you have a logical explanation for why so many easily checked, anti-Trump fake news stories ended up being reported on by mainstream news outlets, but nearly all of the anti-democrat/anti-liberal/anti-Hillary fake news stories that the left has been crying about since the election, never got reported on by the mainstream news media?

Or put another way, why does the mainstream news media do such a wonderful job of vetting stories that would reflect poorly on those on the political left, but poorly vet, or not vet at all, the stories that reflect poorly on Trump or people on the political right? Since this double standard has been going on for years (not to the extent it is now though) I would be very interested to know what you attribute this to, if not political bias?

Like I said, if I'm as "far gone" as you claim I am, Then surely you have the answers that substantiate that claim.
