“There has to be a qualified two-thirds majority of the Senate in order for a removal of office to take place,” a female panelist responded. “These are politically and legally pretty high hurdles, a lot would have to happen for it, we’re far away from that.” Joffe then jumped in with a calm response. "Murder in the White House, for example,” he said.

All I know there is a significant number of people in Europe who are asking why their leaders haven't done something about terrorism like Trump.

But it sure becomes that for those knowing that the overwhelming majority of Europeans is asking itself WTH the current US administration thinks it's doing, let alone what the recent measure is supposed to achieve in combating terrorism.

The ultimate irony perhaps resting in the fact that said majority of Europeans is rather asking itself what it's done to be blessed with so far being spared any leadership displaying such stupidity. And, on the flip side, on account of which sins the average American deserves to be so cursed.

Also on the three opening words of quoted post, here's another irony

The irony here lying not only in that simple realization having been cemented for generations to come, by a member of the very target of abounding paranoia (last not least yours), but also in the fact that some of us could live thrice or more the time he's been dead and would probably still never get close to achieving this level of structured thinking. You of course excluded (to stay with the topic here).

The man was named Abū l-Walīd Muḥammad Ibn ʾAḥmad Ibn Rushd, was a polymath (google will be a friend here) and needed no prophetic powers to arrive at yet another conclusion:

Ignorance leads to fear, fear leads to hate, and hate leads to violence. This is the equation.

He's also known by his "Westernized" name of Averroes and bringing google up a second time now would surpass irony and sink to sarcasm.

Lawd forbid anyone being led to believe that I'm capable of that.:mrgreen:

Anyone having seen the whole thing (and having German of course) would have realized that (also but not solely) mockery at the caller's TV viewing habits was having a hard time being suppressed.

What the Daily Caller wouldn't know about, that old flic "Murder at 1600" had run on the preceding Saturday late night TV. It's German title is "Mord im Weissen Haus" (murder in the White House).

I hear on the next boring Saturday night that precedes this polit-talk, they're gonna run "much to do about nothing".

Maybe it should run on here as well.:mrgreen:

But since you raise the matter of what you obviously chose to understand, the fact that you spout forth the most on the things you have demonstrated as being pretty much ignorant upon (Europe and Islam being two of the "definites"), alluding to that general tendency by pointing out what follows is, in light of your perpetual demonstrations to the affirmative, completely factual and any insult would have been in adding that that makes you a (insert whatever derogatory term your fantasies provide).

Which, as is obvious, didn't happen.

So in the light of all that, we have here merely a case of allusion to your constantly demonstrated lack of knowledge on the two topics I mentioned.
