Anyone who believes main stream media is a fool

It is known that early reporting my any news media can be inaccurate. What you fail to mention is follow up reports have stated that the only shooting was done by police.

So what news is creditable to you?

Some people look to CNN for sports info, local traffic info, and/or generic headlines issued over the airwaves from Reuters, or AP.

Before they went completely insane, I enjoyed The Daily News with Jon Stewart.
He did one SCATHING, I mean SCATHING report slamming the Democrats at their convention in 2012 I think where the rank and file conventioneers said they were the "party of inclusion" except for ____________, and their list was a long one. It eventually led to them saying any and all gun owners have no place in the Democratic party.
That one made me laugh my ass off. Now they are so far left, it is ridiculous.
No suprize Samantha Bee used to be one of their fake reporters.

Still, Issuing blanket insulting statements is not a good way to have people listen to any of your further posts on here.

You are not alone in condemning the MSM.
This election lifted any pretense they ever had about being an impartial news organization.
And seeing so-called "impartial" reporters crying on screen is just embarrassing.
...especially after they just got through moderating a presidential debate!

Still, if we are to heal after 2016, and get back to living together as one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for ALL...this kind of talk on both sides needs to stop.

I could not care less about making friends or influencing people. My goal is to make people angry and to have them think for themselves instead of simply digesting whatever lies they are fed by their propaganda machines. The portrayal of reality that the media pumps into the psyche of the American public is pure propaganda, and the people need to become aware of that. The relationship between an independent media and the public is the foundation upon which the democratic process is built. Once that relationship is prostituted, the public become idiots and are unable to fulfill their function as citizens. That is what we have today.

While I am a pretty intelligent fellow, I am sure it is possible.

I think I understand your approach though. I have long said that our education system should be revamped. We need to start as early as pre-kindergarten. These empty canvases need to be insulted until they cure cancer.

Ah, that may be true in this case but it does cry out for stronger Kitchen Utensil Control.
 
I believe the mainstream media when it says the sun will rise at a certain time and set at another time, or when it shows forest fires blazing I accept that as being true, and a few other mundane events, but when it comes to most other politically laden "news events", I don't believe a word they say.

Scott Pelley with the San Bernardino interview is a perfect example. He completely disregards the statements of 1 eye witness on the scene, while happily accepting what "the authorities" told him.

You list one independent news source as proof another is not credible. Being an independent source by itself is not an indicator of credibility, but being a main stream corporate owned media is defiantly an indicator of conflicted interests of the parent company and the interests of the American people.

The educational system is controlled by a government which is controlled by corporate interests. The educational system is designed to create obedient workers, and religiously zealous consumers. Cure cancer? are you kidding? Do you have any idea how much money chemical / pharmaceutical companies make "fighting" cancer?
Disease is one of the biggest money makers for corporate America that they have.

So what is one or two of your "independent news sources" that are creditable.
Funny how you did not share any. Seems you have little faith in naming a couple so we can take at look at how "creditable" they are.

Your opinion is noted about msm. Yet you provide no proof.

I know what you are doing and it is pathetic. Perhaps you would like to name a couple of MAIN STREAM MEDIA sources so that I can show multiple examples of them printing stories that turned out not to be credible? Hell the main stream media is about as pathetic when it comes to credibility as any post collapse soviet news source.

If you want to read some truth try OF TWO MINDS, and MISH TALK.
