Nah they are already making excuses such as, "Well he's doing what's better for this country". They will make ANY excuse to ANY broken Trump promise.

As not a "Trumpkin," I am mildly amused that this is the promise backed off of for Breitbart to get upset about, and also that Trump supporters actually thought he would see through the whole "jail her" bit.

Breitbart reported it but there was no criticism of trump in your link

Maybe that comes later or maybe liberals are getting hysterical and seeing things that are not there


Btw: I dont mind if trump gets a lot of criticism - even from conservatives

If it is deserved then it may serve to make him a better president

He's friends with Hillary, so there was no real chance of it happening in the first place.

I have been singing this song ever since the election. Trump is very wise to put that chapter behind us and move on to get stuff done. If he continued an investigation of Hillary, that is all we would see in the news. Nothing else would matter. Her prosecution and conviction will do absolutely nothing to improve any of our lives and would only make it more impossible to come together as a country and achieve some common goals.

I support our President-Elect and I did vote for him because he was the lesser of evils...but I would hardly call myself a "Trumpkin". I do find it mildly amusing and a bit pathetic that you would resort to characterizing anybody who might weigh in on your thread as a Trumpkin. It's, at best, a cheap trick.

In any case, let me see if I understand this stuff...

Beitbart publishes an article that, while it has a clickbait headline, is nothing more than a straight news piece with no editorializing of any kind. Politico, then, snatches up on that clickbait headline and somehow spins the article into Breitbart slamming Trump.

Seems to me the "mainstream" media is the fake news and Breitbart is the real news nowadays. Maybe I should put Breitbart on my reading list, eh?

if trump does not go after Hillary....its called a broken promise

yet if he goes after her, then would be witch hunt, a waste of time, political partisanship
 
If he doesn't follow through then next time the people that supported him won't be so inclined to support him.

Yeah pretty much. I was getting hounded by Trump supporters on the drain the swamp poll that I made, because I didn't wait to see if he would. It's clear to me that he isn't doing anything he said he would in his campaign. Conway admitted as much. I wonder what he will say when he doesn't build that wall.

Breitbart bros serve a useful purpose for trump to make him look sane and normal .
