Freaking idiot. How to end your career in eight words.

A reporter for the Los Angeles Times openly mused on Twitter about the death of Republican Donald Trump before deleting the message once it was highlighted by another reporter.
The Twitter message, by L.A. Times reporter Steven Borowiec, who covers North and South Korea, was an apparent reply to a message posted by Time magazine. Time magazine's tweet said, "See Donald Trump's life in photos" and was accompanied by a link to a photo gallery of Trump through the years.
"I would rather see Donald Trump's life end," replied Borowiec.
Nick Iannelli saw Borowiec's tweet and posted a photo of it.

Not a good career move... or move in general really.

Probably drunk. Probably fired.

He'll be getting quality time with the Secret Service.

If a Trump supporter said this about Clinton?
Breaking News Alert!

A mere supporter? I'm sure many have, but a reporter... different story.

Either way, tu quoque is a logical fallacy. The evils of the other side only blind a partisan to his own side's corruption.

A Los Angeles Times reporter apologized on Thursday for wishing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s life “would end.”

“I meant it in jest,” Steven Borowiec explained on Twitter after deleting his original tweet:

I apologize for my Trump tweet. I meant it in jest.

I don't think the Secret Service will take this in "jest".
What would happen if someone from FOX news (a reporter) tweeted for a democratic candidate's life to end?

3 2 1 Explosion and breaking news!

Seems the right was blind and didn't care when a Trump advisor said Hillary should be lined up in front of a firing squad and shot.

He's probably positioning himself to be Hillary Clinton's press secretary. He'll definitely be promoted. This is the L.A. Times after all...

I didn't think about that. You might have a point.

You don't seem too outraged at deathe threats against Mr. Trump.

Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state representative, told radio host Jeff Kuhner Tuesday that Clinton "should be put in the firing line and shot for treason."
Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told CNN the campaign "does not agree with those statements."
Just keeping your statement in context. Bladasaro was an "informal adviser". Trump wasn't around when he said it.
The press went nuts. Where are they now? I did a search to find out. Here is a screen shot of all of the results:

English never has been your strong suit, I have no idea why you would play that card.

What card? The grammer nazi card?
That is ironic, yer the one sayin that someone made a "death threat".....by wishing someones life would end. Apparently, yer the NAZI demanding that the semi-passive "I wish you were dead" is equal to "I am going to kill you". Like I said, you REALLY otta NOT get into semantic arguments, you just don't know wtf yer talking about. (and yes, those misspells are intentional)

Oh, now you call me a nazi...LMAO! You should look in the mirror and repeat your advice.
