Is the mainstream news media a disgrace? In the tank for Hillary?

I am saying that on standardized tests, blacks as a whole score lower than whites. Less blacks complete high school and college than whites. But there are blacks, like Thomas Sowell and Condi Rice and Dr Ben Carson who are smarter than the vast majority of whites including Hillary clinton. But you are one who claimed Trump supporters are stupid and that is not supported by facts/

I am responding to your post again to remind you and perhaps late comers to this thread, your claim. and you seem to labor under the delusion that if someone is voting for Trump they not only are less wise than Hillary supporters, their level of wisdom is so low they shouldn't be allowed to vote. We should compare our respective knowledge of things and see afterwards if I am really so "unwise" that I should not vote since I am voting for Trump and I guess in your mind that makes me "Trump supporter" who would fail your "wisdom test"

Trump Wins the supporters with less debt...


so this just proves the educational system as a total fraud.... and proves those supporters ARE the less wise... who gets lower Incomes WITH monstrous debt to go with the less incomes


those college grads goes to college by getting EXTRA POINTS..... EXTRA points so they can get accepted.... those are the democrat supporters


science clearly shows in ALL WAYS that Trumps supporters ARE THE MOST WISE

Are you old enough to remember the Vietnam War era? The bias in the news media then puts todays bias in the shade. There wasn't even a pretense then.
One thing people need to understand- you're not a customer of the news media, you're what they produce. What they sell to their customers.

Actually, I am old enough to remember the Vietnam War. I was there for two years.

But I was too busy to read the newspapers all that much and TV...well, let's just say there wasn't any.

In any case, I'm wondering if you are excusing or trying to minimize the current media bias because..."it was worse during the Vietnam era".

Is that what you got from what I wrote? Because I didn't say anything like that. If anything, my point is that I hold the media to a low standard, and I'm never disappointed.
Their job isn't to inform you, it's to sell you cars and cough syrup. Mainstream media, anyway.

Television news was entering what I would call "entertainment" in the late 80's.

My letter of resignation stated:

Television news is an oxymoron meant only for morons.
I quit

I have not been able to hold a serious conversation with people who get all their news from TV ever since.


The best example I can give you is when demonstrators show up at a rally. TV will cover the demonstration because its "better pictures", but in newspaper you will also find out what the candidate actually said.

When you parse Trump away from his headline grabbing headlines, there really isn't anything there but anger and hate

BIAS for america is totally different...... teddy roosevelt had a strong bias for america with being a nationalist LIKE TRUMP

THIS BIAS is simply globalists and insane greed types that then brings down a nation.... the media is a giant monopoly that teddy roosevelt and trump totally will STOP.... why?? because the globalists buys off inventions and competition which stops the progress of a nation

teddy roosevelt DID stop the monopolies and from that made america progress fast

I'm tired of the lamestream media jumping in the tank and lining up against incompetence, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, paranoia, ignorance and hate. How can we condemn all those things until we REALLY try them? Come on, Lamestream Media! Live a little!

Wow... did you copy that straight from Hillary's "Deplorable" speech?

You know what I find ironic about her doing that? She did that back when.... and then her biggest argument against Trump in Florida two days ago was essentially "He is mean and calls people names".

Which is funny, because she essentially called 23% of the American electorate racist, misogynist, xenophobic, paranoid Deplorables.
(20-23% because she said half of Trump supporters are those things.... and Trump is polling near 50% along with her... so there is a margin of error.)

Yeah, and? How is she wrong? I think it's totally realistic that 23% of the American electorate think affirmative action is BS, Muslims should stay out, Mexicans should be deported (nevermind that they barely account of half of all illegal immigrants) and they STILL think Obama is from Kenya.

The only disgrace here is the oft-repeated sentiment that if something other than oneself says or does something that oneself disagrees with, then that is necessarily proof that that "something" is biased, or in the Vast Liberal Conspiracy, "rigged", etc.
