It goes along way to show their policies will not stand up to honest scrutiny.
Both PolitiFact and FactCheck.org seem to evaluate significantly more Trump statements than Hillary statements, and both "fact check" his statements of opinion offering their evaluations as "fact."
This has been the case when these sites deal with Dems and Reps for a long time. And then the NYT takes the "statistics" drawn from this selective process to determine which party lies more often...
With out a doubt the fourth estate is official and completely dead!
"Our liberty cannot be guarded but by the freedom of the press, nor that be limited without danger of losing it." --Thomas Jefferson to John Jay, 1786.
Sadly I fear you are correct. When the media chooses a side and becomes a campaign organization for one candidate against another, we are all screwed. We can never trust them again to be objective or honest about anything.
Taking Hillary Clinton's side over Trump is being objective and honest.
If you really do favor manipulation of the Constitution for ideological and partisan purposes, favor open borders and essentially unlimited immigration, support of policies that got us into the mess we are in, and general dishonesty and appreciation for only those laws that serve self-serving purposes, you no doubt would be as objective and honest as you could be when you support Hillary. Just as I am being as objective and honest as I can be when I emphatically oppose her.
But it is not the job of the media to support a political candidate. And when they do they stop being the protector of the truth and become something entirely different.
It's amusing that you talk about protecting truth while spouting right-wing nonsense some blogger fed to you.

YOU just said this:

A factual statement.
Ummm, no, I didn't.
You're doing a bang-up job in this thread.

It seems that way only to utter hacks. Even then, it only seems that way.
