I say this not only based on the Word and ancient church writings of the saints but also based on my often very peculiar experiences in life

As St Paul put it

We must undergo many hardships in order to enter Heaven

What kind of hardships?

Well, I'm sure everyone can add to the list

The hardship of loving ppl who hate us

Is one

I would not say it is "nearly impossible" because I know no such thing, but I don't mind it being said at all.

What I dislike about common Christians, is that they invent it an easy place to get to. They even go so far as to say there is no hell.

You've been watching "The Good Place".

As in... You went to Heaven, and only saw five guys playing Texas Hold 'Em?

Plus, if you are right, then why bother trying? Let's say that only 1 in 100,000,000 people get to go to Heaven. You're going to suffer all these hardships, be a good person, be devout, and still not go to Heaven?

What does it mean, when not only you, but pretty much every person you've ever met, including everyone you know at church, probably including every single person you think is a good person and has done good, is still facing eternal torment?

Do you think your parents will make the cut? Your grandparents? Your siblings? Any of your grade school teachers?

What about a 6-month old baby that is killed in a car crash? Are they screwed, too?

Is this some sort of Calvinist thing?

There is but one step but it is very hard for most to do....I.e. it is simple but hard...

Hocus pocus hoodoo voodoo. Wall etchings and paintings also depict flying saucers, maybe they were the gods?

I would say impossible.

By rights EVERYBODY should go to heaven - in the end.
Even Mr. Satan himself

But all the interesting people are in hell. Better company there than in heaven which apparently is full of people who like to suffer.

What an amusing thought. those who suffer in life go to heaven and enjoy while those who enjoy life go to hell and suffer. What a ****ed up religion your god created.

what he means by hardship is that we shouldnt pray for an easier life, we should pray to get stronger

And for God's holy spirit to help us endure because we live in Satan's world and our own imprecations make us weak...I also love what Paul said about that...

"So I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in times of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful." 1 Corinthians 12:10

Meaning that when we are at our wits end and feel we can't go on, God's holy spirit steps in to enable us to endure, if we only lean on Him...

I think making endless stupid threads would make it much more difficult for you.

I agree -- it's nearly impossible to get into a place that nearly certainly does not exist.

There is a Hell and Earth is one level there of.

It is Hell for a Christian. People hate when you take Jesus seriously...
