If the creator made a place for eternal punsihment I'm on the other team.

Rigged game. Knew what we were gonna do at the moment of creation.

If I'm just gonna end up in hell, why create me in first place.

Pimply kid with a magnifying glass, jahweh is.

When all else fails, resort to scare tactics. It works in every aspect of human life and is the red meat of propaganda.

"Hell is Real. John Bosco's Dream"

Yes, I get all of my reality from my nightly dreams.

(BTW, I can fly in my dreams. Try as I might, I've not been able to fly in my waking life. Sigh.)

I always see threads like this and I wonder how in the world you make yourself believe, in order not to take a chance on hell?

I know hell is real and it only makes sense see that most ppl go there

Most ppl couldn't really care less what Jesus says...his Words sound good at church but forgotten when walking out the door

It makes no sense whatsoever that a loving, merciful, just God would burn a person for all eternity...none...

I am not taking a chance on someone's dream. At least, when someone tries to share the Good News, they usually do it from the lessons in the Bible, not their dreams.

If u are in big sin you should be in terror until u repent

no gods have have told me they exist or dislike anything and their displeasure would not make anything wrong

all that leaves is stuff you dont want me to do why should i be afraid of displeasing you why would displeasing you be wrong for some one else ?

You believe that hell is real.

The most extensive papal explanation of hell came in response to a 2015 question from a female scout who asked, "If God forgives everyone, why does hell exist?" Francis acknowledged that this was a "good and difficult question."

The pope spoke of a very proud angel who was envious of God, reports Catholic News Service.

"He wanted God's place," said Francis. "And God wanted to forgive him, but he said, 'I don't need your forgiveness. I am good enough!'"

"This is hell," explained the pope. "It is telling God, 'You take care of yourself because I'll take care of myself.' They don't send you to hell, you go there because you choose to be there. Hell is wanting to be distant from God because I do not want God's love. This is hell."

Most contemporary theologians would agree with the pope.

This is what I, and most living theologians, believe.

I'll agree with the Pope that indeed......................it is by choice that one would end up in hell.

And by numerous descriptions from the Scriptures, one thing we know - whether we want to take it literally or figuratively -
it won't be a pleasant place to be in. And, it will be forever.

The punishment of the wicked dead in hell is described throughout Scripture as “eternal fire” (Matthew 25:41), “unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:12), “shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2), a place where “the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44-49), a place of “torment” and “fire” (Luke 16:23-24), “everlasting destruction” (2 Thessalonians 1:9), a place where “the smoke of torment rises forever and ever” (Revelation 14:10-11), and a “lake of burning sulfur” where the wicked are “tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).

The punishment of the wicked in hell is as never ending as the bliss of the righteous in heaven.
Jesus Himself indicates that punishment in hell is just as everlasting as life in heaven (Matthew 25:46).

A charming fairy story from the guy in the dress and Gucci shoes.

um i dont need your forgiveness and i can still interact with you whenever i want i can agree with you about some things and argue with you about other things why would a god be any different?

why would you have talk of fire never going out and whaling and gnashing of teeth?

and a god ordering people to go away?

Strive to enter in at the narrow gate; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in and shall not be able. 25 When once the husband of the house is risen up and shall have shut the door, and ye begin to stand without and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not from where ye are, 26 then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say unto you, I know you not from where ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 In that place shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
