What did you believe as a child?

I believed that on the eve of Christmas and Easter, if I turned over in bed and opened my eyes, Santa and the Easter Bunny would be in my room staring at me.

I think Easter Bunnies never enter any rooms.
Santa sometimes comes into the house.

I used to built nice little nests for the Easter Bunny in the garden.
And put in special herbs (Hasen-Brot) that all rabbits were supposed to like.

This might be an interesting topic!

I was born and raised a Catholic, so as a child I believed in the Catholic doctrine. But of course, like many others my faith was weak.
I had doubts.

Eventually, I embraced liberal ideologies - divorce, pre-marital sex, relativism, etc., I was so into materialism.
I went astray, and lost my way.

Sounds like fun.

I used to believe that if you worked hard and kept your nose clean good things happened to you.

Wait...I still believe that.

I guess what's changed is that I didn't know how many people get a pass on that axiom based solely on their last name. That came as a surprise later in life.

And why should the last name be important?
