A belief is a belief. At least with socialism you can see and feel something tangible, with religion it's all faith and no proof.

No. They are not. Oversupply of a crop create economic problems. It could also result in undersupply of needed crops. That's a supply and demand issue.

Look up the history of farm subsidies.

Proof of what? It seems to me if someone believes in God, they will likely express it. Just as those who don't believe in God make sure to express it as well.

Socialism does not go against the evolution of mankind. It has not always failed. In fact all primitive societies are socialistic. Resources are shared out of necessity. Without sharing the tribe could not sustain itself. Those that were better hunters and gatherers shared what they had gotten with those that were less able. It wasn't until tribes became sedentary, learned how to grow and store their resources, built towns, that significant social stratification based on accumulation of wealth began.

Socialism also works in socially sophisticated countries that recognize that national success requires that everyone enjoys good health, good education, and a decent return for their work.

Socialism can be discussed in multiple places elsewhere at DP and be perfectly fine as a topic.
