Muhammeds first wife Khadija bint Khuwaylid, had a story.
Muhammed was a nobody in town, an orphan, adopted by the Qusayy family.
The Qusayy family were the custodians of the kab'ba, and reaped the benefits from it, but Muhammed was not a blood relative.

Muhammed was a camel driver, and apparently a pretty good one.
Apologists used to claim Mecca was a great trading Hub, but in reality it was 100 miles across the hot desert to the trading center on the water.
For this purpose caravans were needed to bring trade goods to the centers.
Khadija ran caravans, or at least paid someone to do it for her.
Muhammed at 26 years old, worked for Khadija, who was 40, and the richest gal in town.
apparently she proposed to him, he accepted, and he stayed in a monogamous relationship for 20 years.
Khadija was also his first convert.

During this time Muhammed spoke to spirits in a cave.

According to some sources, it was Khadijah's cousin, Waraka ibn Nawfal, who confirmed Muhammad's prophethood soon afterwards.[
confirming it was God and not the devil.

How was this done you ask. she sat on Muhammeds lap, stripped down exposing herself.

I think a 60 year old naked desert woman, would scare the devil out of me also.

Sawda bint Zam'a

There is little written avbout her, so obviously there is limited information, if it wasconvenience, necessity , money, or whatever reasons a person might get married.

She was a tanner who had been an early convert to Islam. Muhammad married her at a time when he was unpopular and bankrupt. He considered divorcing her when, as the oldest and plainest of his wives (described as "fat and very slow"), she no longer attracted him, but she persuaded him to keep her in the house in exchange for never sleeping with her again (she gave up her turn to Aisha).

Should we be grateful women didn't keep that "tradition in modern times"?

Aisha bint Abi Bakr

She was the daughter of Muhammad's best friend and head evangelist Abu Bakr. Muhammad selected the six-year-old Aisha in preference to her teenaged sister, and she remained his favourite wife. She contributed a major body of information to Islamic law and history. The paedophilic aspect of this relationship has institutionalised such marriages within Islam.

As we can get into with discussion, she was Muhammeds favorite wife, married to a 50 year old pervert, at 6 years old, and a gift from Allah
Apparently Allah is a pedophile also.
Granted he didn't have sex with her until she was 9, he was 53.

We have a small group of Muslims who claim Ashia was 16, by using dates in an already haphazardly written Qur'an.
However there are dozens of Hadieths, many by Ashia herself, that verify these accusations of pedophilia.

It was after this Muhammed was thrown out of Mecca and migrated to Yathrub, a Jewish settlement

From Yathrub, Muhammed starts raiding Meccan caravans.

Hafsa bint Umar

She was the daughter of Muhammad's wealthy friend Umar. Hafsa was the custodian of the autograph-text of the Qur'an, which was actually somewhat different from the standard Qur'an of today. She migrated with her husband to Yathrub, but her husband was killed at Uhud.
She was an 18 year old and had at least two suiters who wanted her, but Muhammed pulled rank.

The Qur'an she is supposed to have control of is questionable at best.
We have a few claims as to the oldest but carbon dating only points to the parchment it was written on, as in the Sana Qur'ans, where it was copied over at some later date, making dating impossible.

Also we have Ulthman destroying at least 5 Qur'ans that he didn't like. What exists of his, is not complete, and is different than the one used today.

I started this hoping it would stir some interest, but apparently not so I;m going to let it go.

The next wives get pretty interesting, the murders and rapes.

And what is the official attitude to this case of pedophila?

I am also surprised by this lack of interest.
