You can't speak for all atheists! You may not be in need of reassurance, but obviously - so many do!
So many need that reassurance that it has become a lucrative market for book-writers such as Richard Dawkins (lol, with his pathetic The God Delusion) - who seemed to have spent more time writing than doing his real job - and other atheists writers. Maybe, these writers themselves, also need that reassurance - which they feel they had to put on paper!
Who knows?
You can tell which among the forum posters here are in need of some kind of reassurance from book writers affirming what they want to believe!
They're the ones who can't make any other arguments here other than to say, "no - it isn't true! God is a myth!"
Well, no. It's not an ad hominem to question his credibility. I haven't really watch his videos....yet.
I've just only started
on his claims how he lost his belief - and how you described him!
That's where I've focused, so far.
I've just scratched the surface!
Maybe I'll watch his videos - maybe not. I'll let you know if I do.
Full of contradictions?
Check this out:
The "Contradictions" in the Bible
As for different denominations - I've already responded to that!
You never even gave any rebuttals to it - and here you are, bringing up that argument again that you didn't even defend the last time!
So....I don't know why or how your thinking came up witht idea that it is me who should look in the mirror?
