I guess your use of the English language is quite limited. Calling someone a devil does not necessarily mean they are diabolical. It is often used as a lighthearted descriptor.

Actually, my use of the English language is extensive, I jusat try to keep it simple when I am here.

I wouldn't call bringing up the Latin meaning of a word keeping it simple. Nor making a big deal about what name I use here. You read waaaay too much into it.
