If I tell people they are wrong it's because I know they are wrong, concrete or no concrete. Them not being convinced by my explanation doesn't make them any more correct. We are in a day and age where people will argue with you just for the sake of argument, they don't care if they are right or not, they just want to win the argument.

I tell people facts all the time that they completely ignore. Their final defense is to just leave the discussion, usually without directly addressing it at all.

For examples:

Once they are informed

--that elective late term abortions of healthy viable unborn dont occur...

--that the unborn feel no pain during the procedure (either due to the early date of the procedure (97/5%) or the legal administration of lethal anesthetic injection)...

--that there is no way to treat the born and unborn equally under the law...​

they cannot find the data to refute the statements and/or ignore the facts and continue to argue as if they never heard it, coming back time and time again to spout the same dishonest crap. The last one esp. is rarely touched at all, with anything besides...'yes they can!'

You cant tell people they're wrong unless they are actually open to new information. The minds closed rigidly by bias and dogma will remain that way.

Come on , the 'washington times' and 'the daily wire"?? They tend spin things by taking out of context quotes. Portland has a history of defending the right to protest.. no matter who protests.

Have you ever heard of the technique known as 'quote mining'? That is what this is. These two right wing rags take a quote mine, and then give a political spin based in a fragment taken out of context. That's why, if you look up 'how reliable' either the Washington times, or the daily wire is, you will show they do not have a good reputation for accuracy when it comes to what the rest of the world calls 'facts'

A. Aiding Antifa by allowing them to control the streets. Allowing them to terrorize motorists. Allowing them to impede the public. Allowing them to damage private property.

Whatever the mayor ordered or not says nothing about how he feels about Antifa. It only shows how he handled that particular situation. Maybe he didn't want to escalate it into another police shooting people down on the streets.
 
Unbelievable.
I am not Antifa, so far nobody else on this thread is Antifa or supports Antifa, I've STARTED DP discussion threads where I've dissed Antifa, I've said numerous times that they're parasites that leech onto convenient leaderless movements but who attack those same movements when they feel the need, I've asked Mycroft to name some DP members who support Antifa and he came up empty and wouldn't respond, but I swear to God, it's like he works for those guys who call you up at all hours...
