I've been wondering why things aren't going well around here. It appears the Man I put in charge of it all has His priorities all screwed up. This World is going to Hell in a Hand Basket so how does He spend His time? Futzing around with some damn spelling bee!!

I got to do His performance review in a couple of weeks. It won't look too good.

Sounds more like he is superstitious than faithful...don't think God really cares who wins...SMH...

Perhaps you should consider notifying the NFL Players and the MLB Players Associations of these late-breaking developments! God doesn't care about touchdowns and home runs? Game changer!

It galls me to see people using God for their own selfish gains...I pray for God's will to be done in all things and strength to endure whatever comes my way or the way of others...

We may disagree as to the basis of God, but apparently we share common ground that God doesn't give a rat's a** about who wins a football game.

God is great. When a tornado came, I said a prayer. So, He destroyed my neighbors' houses instead of mine. :)

I like to see people use their faith in Christ. What he was asking for is to be able to have a clear mind to be able to do his very best. To ask for a win isn't a proper thing. It's more of a wish. It's better to just ask for each player to do their very best win or lose. And, I think that's what most athletes do. It may sound like God gave them the victory but that's not what they are saying. Except for Muslims...

He is no respecter of men (women too). But, he does bless those with faith in sickness and in health. Sometimes he removes an obstacle and sometimes not. It's his decision what will be best for us. Most of the time, we are in the world but he asks us not to be of the world.
 
Oh good... more idiots that think praying to their imaginary friend exclusively helped them.

No, it isn't; despite biblical assertions to the contrary. As a matter of fact, there has been not one single case of a verified prayer ever having been "divinely answered". None.
