Why do democrats think that we got treated good when we first arrived in America? Some went along saying that Indians gave us turkey. Lol smh.

P.S. look up the Indian Massacre of 1622. The first settlers were attacked, not welcomed and given Turkey. Smh

Indigenous people being unwelcoming in some contexts justifies the wholesale imperial conquest of all territories occupied by their native population? What an interesting argument.

The natives saw white men as invaders. They thought those white men would kill them, rape their women, and move them 1,000 miles away into the desert to live in clay huts on reservations. Silly them.

I doubt even 10% of them have A/C, maybe some up in the NE, where they have the big casinos. But, there really is no sadder place in the USA than an Indian Reservation out West.

Because we were for the most part. Natives were generally interested in Europeans as trading partners. Keep in mind that England had been colonizing Virginia for 15 years leading up to the massacre of 1622. That’s 15 years of territorial annexation and treaty violations. Quite a generous amount of time to tolerate an invasion don’t you think?

Yes there are sadder places. We have missionary friends in Haiti, in the Philippines, in China and in other places in which people suffer greatly. Those living in the US should always be thankful to God for His goodness.
